A small restaurant on Rose St. which has a superb selection of wine - they serve from their own vineyard - and lovely food (great pasta and the pizza was really delicious). We had the Cutaja Nero d?Avolo and it was a wonderful smooth vine. A heartily service and a good atmosphere make this restaurant one of the better ones I would say! Will come back.

I had been given a voucher for two,for the Sicily Wine Tasting experience ahead of a holiday to Sicily, this week, and I really didn't know what to expect from it.
We ended up really enjoying our evening at the Rose Street Veeno, with Jano as our guide.
Jano was very welcoming and really informative about all 6 wines we tasted and I liked that he shared his thoughts on each of the wines with us, as well as directing us to the items on the magnificently presented food platter to pair with each of the wines.
The sweet wine that was served with a delicious Tiramasu at the end of our experience was a complete revelation!
Thank you Jano and Veeno. We will return to sample more of your authentic Italian food and fine wines, and I shall now have a far better idea of what wines to order on our Sicilian holiday!

Had the classic Bolognese lasagna it was fabulous. Had a ?large? glass of Malbec wine that was fabulous.

This is an absolutely perfect little hideaway for a relaxing dinner. The restaurant has an intimate vibe while still offering a casual atmosphere.
Our server, Alex, was fantastic?he introduced himself and the menu with genuine enthusiasm. He took the time to walk us through every dish and shared some excellent recommendations. We went with the grande meat and cheese plate, and everything was spot on. Luke assisted as well, and he was equally impressive.
We enjoyed a bottle of fruity wine along with a couple of glasses of prosecco. For food, we indulged in the lasagna alla bolognese, one of the mozzarella pizzas, the spaghetti alla carbonara, and the tagliatelle al ragu. For dessert, we treated ourselves to the cannoli and tiramisu. 10/5 stars?absolutely coming back!
Kid-friendliness: We brought our 4 month old and she did great.
