Went in to look for a top, but couldn?t find it anywhere. A very polite staff member named Isabelle helped me look and was very kind throughout the whole process.

Nice clothing, but I was horrified with the employees behavior. They screamed at me for wanting to help my daughter get off her jeans as she was having trouble, then an employee screamed at me and told me to "get out of the bloody changing room" which she could have nicely told me to excuse myself because it was 1 person only. Then I proceeded to get nasty glares from the other staff at the checkout, this made me quite upset with the situation. Then at the checkout I asked if they had the item of clothing in a small and they replied with " no, you clearly see it's not on the shelf can't you". I found this comment quite rude as I had already been through quite a lot in this store on princess street. Then I asked for the employees name and they rudely responded with " if you saw the person then you should have asked at the time for their name , shouldn't you have? Which I was quite shocked at. so if I got this employees name I would have wrote it on here but unfortunately they were so rude I couldn't even get that! Overall my experience wasn't good because of this and I wouldn't recommend going at all.

Went in to buy a white top, which ended up being a bit see through there for I decided to grab a white brallete to wear underneath. The top was advertised as on sale for £14 with this being a sticker on the label very clearly for this top. The brallete was correctly advertised as £14. Upon arriving to the check outs, which took a lot of strength as I have anxiety, my items where scanned and came to a grand total of £40 you do the maths! Turns out the top had been incorrectly labeled and was actually £26 which came to £23 with a student discount. I was clearly confused and was simply told that there is nothing that can be done. Once home I was informed by family that this is false advertising and I should have been given the discount. Can someone explain to me why just because I didn't understand I was sighed at and disregarded and quite frankly taken advantage of. I'm disgusted and feel like if the que was shorter and I was less anxious I would have been taken seriously, everyone should be taken seriously no matter what.

Went into the store today to pay, let the staff member at the till know about my student discount to which she was too busy talking to another staff member to then notice. Then continuing completely disregarding us and talking, so much so she forgot to scan an item (there were only two items), forgot if I wanted a bag or not and when I asked if that included student discount responded in a mocking tone ?of course? to which the other member of staff laughed and also said ?of course?. The rest of the interaction was extremely sarcastic from the member of staff at the till. To be honest, it?s extremely childish and unprofessional behaviour. Really unpleasant and uncomfortable environment.

Huge branch, 3 levels, always well stocked. Really greavlocation, right on Princess street, close to Waverley Station.

I'm really wavering between 2 and 3 stars. Let me explain.Location is excellent on Princes Street in Edinburgh. The store seemed to be well stocked but it was a mess! I've seen this before in other UO stores, but this was extreme. The Staff also seemed to care less that we were in the store. On the plus side, my daughters found a few good deals in the sales racks.My take away is that if you have time and are willing to look yourself for items you desire- this store would be for you. Not bad - just meh.
