Been trying to phone branch all day about an item they have of a friends. Won't answer phone. Other branches won't send item to closer branch. So basically they have stolen my friends stuff and is no way of getting it back. Do I have to drive 100 miles to this branch. Honestly what a ridiculously backward industry the banks have become. Not helpful. Not enough staff. Don't want to give you your own money either now without you explaining why you want it. Has become a closed industry helped to rip you off by government. We now have no other options and are forced to have to deal with an industry who hates us. Shows nothing but distain for customers and have a monopoly industry ripping us all of and provided no real service.
Bailing out the banks was the worst thing government have ever done.

Awful. In person colleagues don't know what they're doing. Phone number says use the chat good bye. Absolute useless. How can a bank still be in business and no authorities shut this disgrace?!

Absalute disgusted with the way my family where treated by this edinburgh branch hanovè St, EDINBURGH. Refused a transaction even with the the account owner present .and two power of attorneys present .made to feel like we where steeling from them .. verry upsetting and not nice to be refused and asked to leave premises.

It's a shame the local branches have all been shut. However I have always found this main branch in the middle of Edinburgh to be well staffed who know their stuff with short waits and easy to arrange meetings with someone who can talk about loans, credit cards.etc..

Unbelievable that TSB does not accept foreign cheques. I have been with TSB for 5 years and now have to open an account at another bank just to deposit a cheque into my account.If they told me this before I opened my account I never would have joined TSB.

Lack of cashier availability again, only one cashier on to deal with several lengthy transactions in front of me, unacceptable wait for a 1 minute transaction which needed a face to face pay in.
