Nice whisky shop stocking single casks and also providing personalised service. If you want to get recommendations from people who know what they are talking about, this is probably the place!Duncan, who gave me some recommendations for a gift is knowledgeable and easy to deal with. There were no pushy selling at all. They sounded like they just genuinely wanted to show and tell you about the different whiskies they have to offer.

Stopped into the Edinburgh shop with absolutely no knowledge of whiskey, but wanted the chance to at least experience a taste. Spoke with a young man in the shop (very sorry now I did not get his name) and explained my ignorance. Based on my questions and my beer preferences he made three recommendations. My friends and I held an informal tasting and found his selections were actually much better than expensive well known whiskies. Will be returning on my next trip to Edinburgh. Highly recommend.

I came in here for a wander and came out with two sample sized bottles of some really dazzling stuff. I cannot remember who I spoke to, but I mentioned that I wanted to show my love to a whisky club I belong to here in Chicago and he pointed me in the direction of things that did not disappoint. And great details too.Thank you for that, and hats off?so tonight the club and I sat at a card table in an alleyway garage and one could even feel a slight briny breeze coming in, perhaps the storms off the prairie or maybe from Scotland way as we raised our glasses to the east?

Yesterday I went there in order to be advised which bottle to buy as I have no knowledge. The lady who helped me had no intention or she did not fell like to advising or to sellling anything. I bought one bottle as I needed to buy a present. But surely, I ll never come back. Bad attention and high prices.

Not a fan of whisky but wanted some ?one shot? mini bottle as we were cold and wet, so entered this shop with zero expectations prepared buying Jack Daniels ? but! The guy who works there was so nice and started to explain us different types of whisky, let us taste them and didnt force us to buy anything. And that gorgeous scottish accent was a great bonus! We bought one mini bottle and left with smiles ? This is how I imagine person who loves his job

What an amazing little shop! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and the shop has their own casks that you can taste and fill a bottle from!

If i could I'd give this place 0 stars.My partner and I popped into this shop on our way to dinner, I wanted to show her the peaky blinders whiskey since I love the show! Upon arrival I found the bottle and showed it to my partner. At that moment a lady approached me asking if I needed any help which my response was "no thank you I'm just browsing"We then moved around the store looking at other whiskeys when I noticed the lady was right on my tail following me around the store as if I was about to steal something, this continued at the 3 different shelves of whiskey we looked at.Being very insulted and angry we decided to leave, I won't be returning to this shop ever again.
