Such a great variety of delicious pastries, both savory and sweet-- and all are reasonably priced. I got the potato roll and a £1 chocolate donut. Both were great, but I'll definitely be back for another donut... You can't beat that price.

Okay, this place rules. If I lived near here I'd go all the time. Good selection of pies, served hot (if applicable), for takeaway or dining in at their small amount of seating. Are you going to be blown away by flavor or novelty? No. But the pies are a decent size, have flaky crust, and the price is right. You can even get some espresso while you're in. Awesome.

When you go to the United Kingdom from Spain, culinary expectations are low. In Edinburgh you hear about Haggis and it's even worse. There are many international food options but I wanted something local. The solution was this site. They serve very good pastries or filled empanadas at reasonable prices. I'm going with the mushroom one and of course for me the star is the tattie dog, a little dog covered in potato. I recommend it 100%, it saved us two afternoons.?

Had to try them all, but their signature haggis pies are top shelf. The guy was very nice as well. He felt sorry that my wife couldn't bake pies so he gave me one for the road. ?
