The Opticians at Marchmont have been really great, the optician is very friendly and I feel she does a thorough eye test. On the day of my eye test they didn't have the style of frames I was looking for, but they kindly ordered new frames in for me so I had more choice!

I went in today with reservations as was not one to go to the doc and get a check up but I have to say i was so impressed with them. They were fist class with a great service and put me at ease from the get go and that this was no biggie! The outcome is I will be heading up there next week to select my specks... thankyou again to Steven and Hannah its much appreciated! For those looking for an eye place this is the one

Brilliant independent opticians. The owner, Stephen, was helpful and friendly and provided everything I needed for selecting two new pairs of glasses. The shop has a considerable choice in frames and I was able to take as long as I liked choosing what I wanted. The optician, Hannah, was also tremendous and actually provided a more accurate prescription than previous optometrists had been able to do. All-in-all: great service, great place, great people.

I was very impressed by the outstanding service delivered to me by Steven and the team. I ordered an urgent set of glasses whilst I was traveling to Edinburgh from overseas and they were ready within a couple of days. Excellent service, helpful staff and a high quality product. I popped in spontaneously after the arm of my beloved old glasses broke off. I was helped immediately, a new screw put in and others tightened up. Wasn't charged a penny. Lovely shop, friendly service, will be back. Thank you.

I love these opticians. They are not only excellent at what they do but are friendly and welcoming. They have a lovely range of frames at reasonable prices, they turn around orders quickly and efficiently. Hannah, the optician, also picked up that my previous prescription had been wrong and corrected it which means clearer views!

I have been using this opticians for the last 3 years along with my family. I need to go for glaucoma checks and have always dreaded them until I started attending OAM. The optometrist?s are really good, they don?t rush you through your appointment and always give helpful advice. On my last visit I needed glasses for the first time. As a small adult I need to wear children sized glasses. They have a wide variety of both affordable and designer frames. Steven was very professional, advising on suitable frames. My daughter also needed new frames and was delighted with her trendy pair. The customer service from start to finish is always professional. Both our glasses were ready for collection quickly. The covid safety arrangements in place ensure a safe and efficient visit

I received such a helpful and professional service from The Opticians at Marchmont. They really helped me out in a desperate situation and couldn?t have been more kind and calm which is exactly what I needed. Highly recommend going to this opticians rather than a bigger high street name as they really go that extra mile not only for their private customers but for someone visiting Edinburgh needing some assistance with their contact lenses!

My experience with Opticians at Marchmont was simply impeccable! The staff were highly professional and friendly. Caring, friendly and efficient. I lost my last pair of contact lenses the day before a big race. All flustered I popped into Opticians at Marchmont and provided with a friendly smile and a last minute set of lenses for my race. I've always heard good things about this place, and it definitely lived up to expectations.
