We were greeted by Sean who was super polite and charming, he was quick to seat us and take our order which made us feel at home straight away. There was live music on when we visited which added to the lovely atmosphere! Great place to grab a drink as well as food in the city and was a 10/10 experience definitely thanks to Sean, we will be back for sure :)

We stopped by Newsroom for a quick drink and snack and absolutely loved it. Charlotte, one of the bar staff was so friendly and efficient and her martini?s were THE BEST! Will definitely visit again next time we?re in Edinburgh.

The cosiest place in Edinburgh. Amazing service and really just a classic spot for me. Comes at a nice price for excellent foods like haggis, burgers, salads, nice drinks and more. Visited it quite often, will visit it again. Love the newspaper themed menu.

The starters were great! We should have just orders these. The main meal was way over priced and had no taste.

Pints are really expensive (even compared to other places in Edinburgh). But the service is HORRIBLE. Really rude woman who was condescending because I couldn't hear her (maybe try turning down the music which everyone in the pub thought was extremely loud, or speak up), really off-putting. Avoid at all costs.

Great experience! The food was yummy, highly recommend the mac and cheese and fish& chips! Sean was our waiter and he was super helpful.
