Cracking wee pub, good local atmosphere and Malt of the Moment is one of my favourites. What's not to like there.

Fantastic wee pub. Decent priced drinks by Edinburgh standards these days. Friendly staff, live music, quizzes and live sports and cracking well priced pizzas. Lovely proper old school pub. Top boozer ? One of Leith's little gems. Staff key to that status ??

Tiny little bar from outside ,little snug as you enter but more space through the back. Seems a lot of regulars were in as bar staff chatty with them.Live music at night.Pizza for £7.00. My only gripe was draft coke was flat. Dogs allowed.

What a great find.
Traditional, independent pub, in a great quirky building. Topped off with friendly local staff, and a great pint.
(I'll try the pizza the next time )
Thank you.

Lovely little traditional pub that sells Scampi Fries. Always a good sign. Also, the ladies toilets are exceptional. Another great sign.

Original Leith local for the guys sitting in the front room. I know the pub dates back more than 200 years. I sat in the large back room which looks old with what looks like original features.

As Leith becomes more gentrified it is good to see that pubs like The Carriers Quarters has not changed one little bit. A good old fashioned boozer that many will walk past without realising it there. From the outside it looks like it might be a tiny bar but it has large seating area at the back. If you are looking for a bar to watch the footy you will get a good seat in here as well.Good selection of beers from various local breweries such Moonwake, and the prices have stayed reasonable. One of those pubs where you will prop the bar up and end up talking everyone. popular place for people working around Leith Docks and the like so you will hear some cracking stories.
