There is a better stocked and less expensive Tesco superstore at 7 Broughton Rd right here in Edinburgh. They don?t follow you around like a potential shoplifter and treat you with respect. It?s not that far away even by walking. Try there!

I went in on the 10th of August at 10.30 am. to pick up 2 bottles of protein drinks. Then I waited at the till to be surrounded and watched, cornered. I put down the drinks and went to leave as one of the employees grabbed me as I crossed the security gate. That surprise, surprise, did not go off. When I confronted the manager, he accused me of stealing because his colleague said so. Long story short, these people are willing to assault you for no good reason! Sainsbury down towards Shandwick is a much better, friendlier place to shop.

Had everything I needed but only had self checkout. Self checkout was extremely difficult to use and drove me insane. Couldn?t do anything without having the register freak out over nothing.

After mailing some postcards and breakfast at The Painted Rooster on the morning of Friday 19 July 2019, I was on my way on foot to Holyrood Park to do some hiking. I had packed some food and decided that if I passed a small store on the way I would stop and see if they had any last food item(s) I wanted for a morning of exploring. Nearing St John's Episcopal Church, I was seeing the stores thin out and spotted Tesco Express. I slipped into the store and quickly looked through the offerings.I went with a small snack/candy item. There was a short line, which while standing in I noticed a small case of Krispy Kreme donuts. I did not get one of those, but it was a reminder I was going back to the United State of America the following day. Oddly, or goodly depending on one's perspective, it made me want to stay in Scotland more than go back to America.

Went to buy a can of red bull in the morning 8am before college and the woman asked for my ID. I'm 26 and clearly don't need ID for Red bull I told her I had my Irish student ID because I dont even get asked for ID when buying alcohol. I showed it to her. She told me she couldn't accept it extremely rudely. Funny how I went to sainsburys and they had no problem seeing I was visibly over the age of 16. Ridiculous this woman's clearly on a weird power trip
