Subway now with touch screens, which makes it harder to ask for extra of anything. Decent footlong though and nice and warm. Bloody freezing outside this time of year in Edinburgh. Good music also. Somewhat recommended, after all, subways are pretty average, let's be honest.

Terrrrrible customer service. From my experience the female staff in particular have a self-entitled holier than thou attitude and are very confrontational and unapologetic. They make you feel like they are doing you a favour by receiving your custom and selling you food.
First experience in just the first month of opening I asked for a Submelt, which I made them aware I had never ordered on before, i asked for bbq and southwest sauce and was sternly told it only comes with southwest no bbq. I politely asked if i could just have some bbq as well when making it and was met with reluctance and angry body language/ expressions. When putting the sauce i got 1 extremely thin line of each sauce. It looked very dry - especially on brown bread - as normally the bottles are squeezed hard and you get 1 or even 2 thick lines of each sauce.
She argued for about 5 minutes telling me you only get 2 lines of each 2 sauces and i pointed out that she only put 1 line of each and that they were tiny thin lines that hardly did anything. After fighting and refusing another staff member, realising i was very annoyed, told her to do as I asked. So she said ?okay i will put it?.
Even after she added another thin line or 2 of sauce it was THE MOST DRY subway I have ever ate! Literally ruined the start of my day off by arguing.
I dont know if this is their general attitude against all customers having a preference that isnt to their liking or if its especially towards pakistani/ muslim customers. I have had relatives with the same experience and only got a good serving of sauce after threatening to cancel and not pay.
This pettiness and level of service is shockingly bad for a newly opened shop that would want to please locals being the new and only halal subway on the block. Clearly they dont give a toss and dont want business. The owner needs to fix their staff before this place closes down by being avoided. having ate subways since school days and friend who own subways outside of edinburgh I know subway is all about the sauce. If it aint dripping a bit with the good stuff then youre doing it wrong!

One of bad halal restaurant in Edinburgh. No cleaning, no ethics of communication. I was go at store girl with the served me her name was Anna, she preparing a delli sandwich. I ask for chicken, she didn't change gloves and start serving if ask change gloves she changed only one gloves and I ask please wash your hand and change your gloves for both hand. She denied and start preparing my sandwich after she cut my sandwich with same knife as she was cut delli sandwich without sanitizing the knife. I mentioned to her you didn't sanitize the knife. "When Anna answer me you want this sandwich or not. If you don't want I can bin this". And same time manager in black shirt was there and told me we don't want to serve you.
Please don't go anyone that store. There are too many other subway.

Got a foot long plant piccante sub for £8.69. Service and communication was good from the young woman working there and sub is tasty.

If I could give a 0 star I would food came with stuff I never ordered . Chips were under cooked and still frozen in the middle some people don?t belong near food and who ever was on shift on 05/01/2024 at 6 pm doesn?t belong near a oven absolutely

Left the shop in tears because of how horrible a staff member was to me. When I walked in she just stared at me like I was the worst thing on the planet and told me to make it quick over and over as I was telling her my order. The boy working with her was lovely and seemed apologetic of the way she was speaking to me. The girl was making comments about me under her breath and again as I was telling her coworker the rest of my order she interrupted again to say ? I told you already, we are very busy? even though I was simply telling him my order and nothing else. Was caught completely off guard and have never left a shop crying before, so humiliated.

I am utterly disappointed with my recent experience at Subway. It was a complete disaster from start to finish, and I am compelled to share my frustration. I placed an order for a simple lunch through their app, thinking that I could enjoy a convenient and satisfying meal. Little did I know that my expectations were about to be crushed.Upon receiving my order, I was immediately struck by the absence of not one, not two, but a whopping nine items that I had specifically requested. It's not like I ordered a complex masterpiece ? just a few sandwiches and sides. Is it really too much to ask for a basic level of competence in fulfilling a customer's order?The sandwich artist (if you can even call them that) seemed to have overlooked the fact that I was a paying customer who deserved to receive the items I had paid for. It's not rocket science to put together a sandwich with the requested ingredients, yet it appeared to be an insurmountable challenge for them.The frustration of having to deal with this blatant incompetence is immeasurable. I had to use their slow app and place my order, and then wait again, only to find out that my order had been carelessly botched. Not only did I waste my time and money, but I was also left hungry and disappointed.The saddest part is that I have been a loyal customer of Subway for years, hoping that they would live up to their reputation. However, this experience has shattered any remaining faith I had in their ability to provide even the most basic level of service.It's safe to say that I will be thinking twice before ever setting foot in a Subway again. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I strongly recommend steering clear of this establishment. The incompetence and lack of attention to detail that I experienced are inexcusable, and I sincerely hope that others can avoid such a frustrating ordeal.

I think it's blasphemous to even call this a Subway. I ordered my lunch, looking forward to a scrumptious meal and it took way too long! The order was appalling, missing ingredients and the ones that were there had been shoved in and everything was a dripping mess. I don't want a soggy sandwich. If I did I would ask my wife to make me one! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS (and I shudder to even use this word) RESTAURANT!!!!!
