Best chippy around, has all the Scottish standards, quick, needs to be the que often reaches pavement. The curry sauce is pleasingly questionable whether it's toxic. Would prefer more seafood options, chilli squid and battered fish nuggets. Feeds half of Porty.

Terrific fish and lovely chips. Nicely flavoured haggis also. One of the best chippies on the Edinburgh area in my opinion.

Heard lots of greats things before my visit, mostly about their fish and chips.
I do like to find an excellent finsh and chips spot when visiting the seaside, so was looking forward to visiting.
Service was excellent and we were seated immediately. It's a cosy place with a standard decor.
Ordered fish and chips, with a few sides. Food tasted great and had a reasonable selection of fish options. Enjoyed the food, but giving 4 stars as perhaps people hyped this up a little too much for me, as I was expecting some signature item or really amazing food.
I would recommend this place.

The food was fantastic everything fresh and delicious. The people there are always walking around with a smile. The inside of the place is really nice and pleasant to sit in and have a meal.

We were a large group. Everything was cooked fresh and available on arrival! Monica was helpful and friendly. Got us everything we needed in no time at all. Also arranged ice creams!

Horrible attitude from the delivery driver who is more interested in swearing and threatening people than completing a delivery. Also the portion sizes are ridiculously small and the quality of the food is dreadful.

Took my Mum to this restaurant last night, 14/7. It was lovely. I had the rocket, pear, blue cheese and walnut salad, delicious! Staff member (called Rose, I think) was very busy but had time for everyone. So polite and friendly. 10/10 for excellent customer service.

Visited on Sunday evening,order 7 and 8,Chip rump steak supper and single white pudding,the batter on the rump steak was hard and like rubber,obviously been lying for a while,chips were barely Luke warm.White pudding was okay but nothing special.
We also ordered 2 coffees,which they had forgotten about and after leaving the shop noticed that one was only half full.
We had decided to try this on recent reviews,sadly was greatly disappointed in the quality of the food,won?t be rushing back!!

Far too expensive for either portions size and quality. £7.10 for 3 slices of calamari and a very strange pizza dough. The flavour of the latter was fairly good but to be honest I finished it because I was very hungry. The waiting staff were very nice, but I certainly won't be back.

Extremely busy tonight, long queues outside on a hot sunny day staff Excellent, but Under lots of pleasure, I hope they are well paid. Food was a bit disappointing though fish was completely dry which surprise me given how quick the turnover was. Maybe they are cooking too many and leaving them under lamps

I don't know where the good reviews came from. I wanted to show my niece the magic of fish and chips. Instead we got fish that smelled aweful and tasted disgusting. Definitely not fresh. The chips were soggy and cold. I have to beg for salt and viniger at unpleasant waiter, who gave me pinch of salt and drop of vinegar into the paper cup. I don't recommend this place at all....

Totally horrendous service with overpriced and poor quality food. To top it off, being sworn at by a member of staff is unacceptable. Given the review when they didn?t allow an elderly gentleman to use their toilets (after spending more than £50 with them) I thought I?d give them another go. Never again.
