Very poor service, waited 10 minutes after appointment time to be told that they can't access my sons prescription and that they don't have time to do a full eye test for his contact lens trial.

Brilliant service at Specsavers optician in Morningside. Their new premises are much more spacious and comfortable. All their staff is friendly, efficient and attentive.
My optician was brilliant, he answered all my questions and educated me about my eyes health.
I will certainly be back!

Excellent service at new Specsavers location in Morningside. Thorough eye examination and very good optical options if you need new glasses or lenses. Also referred me for further examination by an ophthalmologist practice.

The service from this Optician is appalling. Had a sight test on 16 January 24'. The test was followed up by the usual admin and upsell. During the upsell process I had gone for the 2 for £69 deal. The person handling the upsell did not make me aware of the additional costs for extra items. It was only at the end when it came to payment I was asked for £119. I was told it would be 10 days before they would be available. I don't live in Edinburgh. I have heard nothing for 4 weeks. Today I call into the shop. The assistant suggests I was sent a text around 2 February but claims they sometimes have signal problems. I reminded him this was supposed to be a text it wasn't WhatsApp. Suffice to say I never received any text. Whatever you do, please do not use this organisation. There are far too many high street and on-line Ooticians.

Specsavers (Morningside) were not my main Opticians and yet they continued to help me with an issue that took some time to resolve and multiple visits. They are very professional, always made me feel welcome and the staff are wonderful people. I'm definitely returning here for future matters regarding my sight.I also want to give a lot of thanks to Ryan who helped me through my problems. He has so much patience and I really can't thank him enough.

The good people of Specsavers Morningside helped me avoid a pre Christmas contact lens disaster with their generous and thorough customer service. Gillian found me some emergency trial daily lenses and a new set of monthlies for my prescription immediately. She was very kind and helpful.
