If you?re on the Royal Mile, this is just 1 minute off the tourist drag, with textiles which are 100 miles better than those! Gorgeous products by real Scottish makers, very knowledgeable and helpful staff who really know their stuff.

I stopped in on a rainy afternoon, close to closing - and had a wonderful time learning about the various textiles and their makers from Kitty (especially loved Bakka and learning more about Harris Tweed). I was so impressed by the quality, variety, and feel in this shop, it definitely stood out when compared to other shops. When they didn't have the specific color of an item I was hoping to purchase, Kitty reached out to the maker and arranged to get it to me before I left the UK. Absolutely fabulous experience, I hope to visit again someday. (Also, we love our pups in their matching Harris Tweed dog collars from the shop)

THIS IS THE PLACE! We weirdly had a difficult time finding a shop that sold actual Scottish textiles while we were in Scotland.Small boutique with niche items (blankets, throws, scarves, cosmetic bags), and everything is top quality.I think we spent half our budget there.Highly recommend.

Extremely happy to have found this place by the Royal Mile last week! I purchased a few items and the quality is high-end, you can really appreciate the true Scottish fabrics. It was fascinating to hear all about the history behind each individual piece, and the efforts the local artisans put into their creations. Best place to buy yourself and others a nice warm gift!
