Go to this store a lot. Was turned away at 10.52pm when it should have been open til 11pm. Apparently the manager needed to close early for some reason. Not happy, I didnt eat decent food that night.

I was looking for the medicine because I was ill and a member (she was an older woman who sounded English) of staff was walking by so I asked her but she literally ignored me and pushed past me. Ignoring is one thing but physically pushing me felt incredibly uncomfortable and inappropriate and was quite upsetting. I asked another member of staff and he was friendly and helpful, however once I got to the medicine aisle the same woman physically pushed me again without saying anything. I am not the type of person who expects the world of customer service employees but it is unacceptable to push customers and ignore them especially multiple times within a few minutes. Super disappointing and I will be filing a complaint.

when I decided to buy basic products today at the checkout when the cash machine was busy I was rudely asked if I was buying lotteries or cigarettes because otherwise I would not be served I am disappointed with the customer service the expression on the seller's face says it all.

Worst costumer service in my life. Wednesday April 2nd at 19:45 we tried to shop here. They only accept physical card & we were fine with that but unfortunately our cards from Spain didn?t work here. Instead of just saying sorry and we leave, the woman in the woman cashier working at the moment decided to treat us as if we were thieves (we did not take any of the products), laughed at us and accused us of having fake credit cards, which was literally impossible given the fact that it said ?pin OK? when I put my credit card. Wr went to another Sainsbury?s Local where we could pay with no problem and the cashiers were much nicer.
I hope that disrespectful cashier from your shop doesn?t have to experience what she made me go through, laughing at us with her workmates, talking to us as if we were stupid and accusing us of being thieves. I can assure we were not rude or disrespectful so there?s no reason to be that rude

So handy with my airbnb nearby. Had enough for our short trip and didn?t feel it was overly extortionate for what is a very touristy area! Bring your own bag.

A cosy shop with everything you need for your daily shopping. I didn't run a household from here, I was shopping as a tourist, but it was perfect. Interesting local produce, fresh pastries available late, and a wide selection of beers and wines. I met friendly, helpful, direct and communicative sales people here. I have positive impressions and would recommend it to anyone passing through.
