I've noticed on several occasions that staff members, including what seems to be the store manager (recognisable by a different outfit), are smoking just outside the shop throughout the day.
As someone who works nearby and passes often, it creates quite an unwelcoming atmosphere. It feels unprofessional and gives the wrong impression of the store, which is a real shame.

I lost my receipt for a reimbursement, the staff went above and beyond. We?re so patient, kind and thoughtful to reprint my receipt so I would be reimbursed by the Uni for an event.

I waited outside of Sainsbury?s for what felt like ages. It had been a long school day and I just wanted a yoghurt then there was a line a big line outside of the Sainsbury?s and two and they were keeping all of the kids out but they let two adults in when the shop was not even busy. I felt like discrimination and I?m absolutely distraught because I didn?t get my yoghurt and now I have to go to school hungry starving and dehydrated all because they only let the adults in.

Unnecessary sarcasm from the manager. Literally had a minute to pick up what I wanted and I would've been out. I live in the area and obviously I know where's what. Did I make him stay open later than he was supposed to nope. He had others inside before me and they made him stay later. Probably because they were white. Definitely a race thing. Thinking I can't speak English. Sorry it's my first language. Sorry you if you are Scottis, you are no better than the English

Small Sainsbury?s generally quite poor with limited selection of groceries. The only saving grace for this establishment is that is located very centrally and is close the University of Edinburgh. It gets quite busy during lunch times but not sure about other times as I have only visited then.

Probably the worst supermarket in Edinburgh. Terrible range, crazy prices. The staff are almost always rude, but to be honest I don?t blame them - they?re clearly never comfortably-staffed.Unbelievably, it?s cheaper to go up the road to the ?luxury? Margiotta supermarket.

Nice cosy branch mainly serving meadows area ... generally has most of your day to day needs, and staff are friendly and helpful. It's definitely a must-have amenity in that area right next to a starbucks.

It's a go-to. Get all your essentials here, especially when you are in need of a quick snack, or water. A little small, but definitely has what we need.

You can buy calmly see the great assortment that there is in a place that is not very large.It has a wide variety of edible products, especially food prepared to be heated in a microwave or oven.There are self-service boxes.
