Service is fine but it's open during school hours!!! This means I can't go to the bank during school term, which is exceptionally inconvenient. PLEASE CHANGE THIS

I just wanted to say how thankful I am for their exceptional customer service on 22/04/22. I am a Lloyds bank customer, and urgently required paper statements for visa application purposes. I went to the Bank of Scotland branch at Leith because it's the sister branch to try my luck. The representative, a very kind gentleman, met me at the reception area, patiently listened to what I wanted to say, reassured me that he can help, and within 10-15min was able to find someone to help me. I understood it was a complicated process, but they handled it with such grace! I got back to my appointment center on time and made a successful application for visa. Forever thankful for their kindness and service.

Inexperienced/ untrained staff. Only ever have one teller open, the older ones only scuttle out when there's a queue to direct you to use a machine. Instead of this, they should jump on to the empty teller positions and help out!Gormless and often condescending.

The customer service is appalling. We had tried to switch from our old bank to RBS, and our application was almost finished by their employee. All we were asked to do was to bring the 3-months statements from our old bank (we didnâ??t have them handy) to finalise our application.

The staff are always very helpful and polite. The issue is they are constantly overflowing with customers and they have insufficient numbers to clear the queue quickly. Not their fault but frustrating nontheless.

Excellent service yesterday, for something as old school as a cheque book cover. Staff could not have been more helpful.

Staff are very pleasant in my experience. They do get a lot of unfair abuse because it's so busy however it wasn't the staff that closed down many of the branches so it's not their fault.

Spoke to the manager on the 10/6/17 to make appointment for the week after to speak to someone. He said i can just squeeze you in there. In our minds thought it was a bit late for a Saturday but would be ok. Turned up today to find out branch was closed for renovation without any phone call through the week.

I visited the branch to organising clearing my overdraft - greeted by a pair of dolled-up teenage TOWIE-rejects chewing gum. Very unprofessional given they work in a bank. Despite the branch being totally empty I had to book an appointment to get my overdraft cleared. Total waste of time.

RBS close two local branches and use a skeleton staff at this one. Leave those with sticks and elderly standing in queues. Surely use a ticket system? C'mon, get it together. I'm leaving RBS asap!

14 people in front of me and 2 behind. Queue right back into the street. Not an unusual occurrence and I am NOT a happy customer. If you close branches you should have the capacity to deal with our customers in the remaining branches otherwise they will go elsewhere and that will definitely reduce the queues.
