worst service ever. Miniscule opening times and they hate you coming. Staff should be fired or put on minimum wage. They are working tiny hours and providing atrocious service for full time salaries. Sack the slackers and give us a decent interest rate.

The service I received was absolutely pathetic. I went in to pay a bill which I have done on numerous occasions at other branches . This branch didn't know how to do it and admitted it after making me wait half an hour of my lunch break. Do yourself a favour and don't go to this branch

I received exceptional customer service from Darren and Rona. They went above and beyond to help me when I made a mistake transferring money. They were extremely on the ball, fast thinking, calm and kind in a stressful situation. They really couldn?t have done more to help and they were extremely professional, warm and patient throughout.

I have been looking at the other reviews and agree that the service is unacceptable. The fault lies at the door of the head office who closed too many other branches especially the South Bridge branch which was considerably larger than Nicolson Street.

Terrible customer service! Next time I wonâ??t even bother. When thereâ??s a large queue forming and 2 desks open. One desk had 2 employees on it seeing a customer, after the customer was finished both of the employees (one being a younger guy) decided to leave and to go to the back (knowing there was a large queue) and didnâ??t return (leaving only one employee seeing to the customers). We waited far longer than we should need to, we left.

I usually only use the branch to pay cheques in, which cannot be accomplished with their mobile banking app (unlike with Santander's). The branch definitely needs more counters and staff. Agree with previous comments about the length of time taken to be served. Okay if you have a nothing better to do, but the que's can be long and and very time consuming. Find the staff to be generally polite and friendly, but this busy branch definitely needs more.

I can't fault the staff as they do the best to contend with the influx of customers - a mixture of elderly people who are clueless on how modern banking works and spend 30 minutes asking the same questions over and over; and of students who clog up the place with endless queries on the value of the Pound, Brexit, and how their student loans work. It is a busy place, and on more than one occasion I've seen the queue go out the door and round the corner.
