Everything you could want from a Pub Bar. Immediately friendly staff, relaxed environment, great menu, solid selection of drinks.
And to top it the food is simply lovely. During our trip to the London and Edinburgh this was our top meal. Surprisingly the wings were top notch, and the Mac and burger were both executed perfectly. Jealous of the locals that call this place home.

Great experience, lovely meal and excellent service. We ate early (5pm) so it was not busy. We had a reservation but we were the only people eating. That said, the dining area is fairly small so if you can make a reservation its probably a good idea.

We went for lunch on a Saturday and found seats at the bar. I got the vegan haggis and really liked it, I am glad I was able to try a local dish.

We stopped in to this restaurant thanks to Phil Rosenthal?s suggestion (SFP, IYKYK). We had the skink, wings, the fishcakes, chips, Mac & cheese, the aye pal and a pot of earl grey. Everything was very good. The wings were our favorite!

Lovely cozy atmosphere
Quirky local café known for supporting local artists too.
Drink variety is nice , I'd say on the mild strenght.
Only tried the deep fried cauliflower with Vietnamese sauce and it was amazing!
Staff is efficient and attentive.
Will be back for dinner!
