Good coffee and the sandwich was fantastic.
Service was lacking though, as servers werent very friendly and it wasnt clear wether we should seat ourselves or how the ordering worked.
A bit pricey too.

Good scones and good coffee. I would say the place is ok and has its own vibe. Didn't have problems with service, everything went fine. I've been twice there and both times all went fine for me.

Could not fault this humble, quiet, elegant coffee shop just around the corner from busy George Square. Perfect location, amazing coffee, and staff were attentive and kind. 10/10

Been coming here for 10 years and the coffee is very consistent. When I was doing up my flat close by Press was a welcome local coffee shop. A few staff members have been there for a long time which is good sign and the pastries are always fresh.

After passing by this place almost every day, decided to give it a try and I will be coming back. The coffee flavour was up to par and the milk was super creamy. Service was fast and the staff were super friendly!

The scone and coffee were okay, but the service was surprisingly cold. The stuff couldn?t have looked more annoyed if I?d asked for a kidney. I?ve never experienced this kind of service at any other cafe. Won?t be coming back.

A lovely, bright and friendly place for a regular coffee and roll with excellent staff - with a great sense of humour. Whole place very clean and hygenic, as are the toilets downstairs. Strong recommendation.

Not massively impressed with this place. One of the main things I look for in a coffee shop is friendly service and I've never had it here.
The coffee isn't bad. But for some reason I don't get a warm welcoming vibe.
A few times I've waited at the counter for a good few minutes before anyone has appeared and that's also very frustrating.

Nice coffee but the service was pretty bad. There was only one person making the coffee, taking orders and doing the cooking, way too many tasks for one person. Due to this we had to several minutes before our order was even taken.

Sandwich was nice (although for 8.55 I?d expect nothing less) but soup was frozen veg and some lentils which I assume had been microwaved as the centre was cold. Servers were pretty rude and not friendly - should have read the more recent reviews as this appears to be a theme. We went somewhere else for coffee and cake.
