Would rate 0 stars. The sandwich I brought game me food poisoning. Nothing else could have given me food poisoning apart from that sandwich. Spent my first day back with liquid coming out of both my mouth and behind. Prices are awful tooAnd you know the shop keepers won't contact me to amend this don't you

Really conveniently placed, great variety of stock and honestly isn't that overpriced considering the location! Legit made my weekend trip measurably better.

Most people in the comments say it is overpriced, but I think the prices simply reflect the location. I managed to buy everything I needed and it was the only convenience store open in this area late on Sunday, so I am quite happy that the store exists.

Rip off merchants. They charge double the price. Actually think it's not legal

V.A.T; No: 245026725I would also give zero stars if I could. Like the previous reviewer, I went in to Festival Stores/70-72 Grassmarket on July 15 to purchase postcards and my daughter selected a fridge magnet. The woman behind the counter, who was seemingly helpful, convinced me to purchase my international stamps there. I thought she was doing me a favour - actually, she was ripping me off. She also charged 3.50 pounds for each of the 7 stamps so the price for the 7 stamps was 24.50 pounds. Ridiculous. I find it outrageous that stamps can be marked up in this manner. I totally agree with the previous reviewer, that the people in this store take advantage of tourists. Do not shop here!On the bottom of the receipt, it says:!! THANK YOU FOR SHOPPING WITH US!!(I am really sorry that I did).

Completely overpriced tourist trap. There are hardly any price tags and you get a nasty surprise at the checkout. Of course there is no receipt, so you can't understand what the Moruk has calculated. Avoid the shop like the plague!

*DO NOT SHOP HERE!*They lie and mark up the prices! Went in to buy international postcard stamps and for 5 stamps they rang it up at £17.50. Not knowing that you could actually charge more for these (it is illegal to do so in the US), I went ahead and purchased them. Afterwards, I felt like following up just to see. They absolutely overcharged me. What should have been £2.20, they charged me £3.50.Their postcard choices were not that great either. Many other markets had a much better selection, at of course a lesser cost. After reading other comments, it's clear this place overcharges everyone and takes advantage of tourists.I would give zero stars if I could.

Criminally overpriced and exploitative. No receipt given and no prices posted. Even the stamps, which should be controlled, are up-charged more than 50%. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Staff should consider answering the customers instead of being all stuck to their phones. Once you have a customer, ask if they need help.Considering your prices are out of this world, I'd like to charge you 5£ for the education in customer service....Don't leave your luggage here. Chose another place.
