Around the corner from The Royal Mile. Everything was great. Vending machine was broken for the stay but those things happen. Meals here were very good and great value. I just felt bad that the Front Desk Staff also had to be waitstaff in the restaurant. This was the reason for 4 stars, wait times longer than normal and expected. Not an issue for me personally but others might get frustrated. I will be returning this fall for another visit.

Location is great, and room ideal for business needs.Rooms: There is plenty of space. The room is clean and has basic provisions you need.Walkability: Very central, just across the road from the train station. 10 mins from the castle.

Good hotel would stay again. Nice showery shower with a proper spray, comfy bed and TV that actually works.Friendly efficient staff. Great breakfast tho best to go early when it looks a bit fresher. Fab coffee ??Nearby activities: Walking distance from the station and huge new shopping centre plus Holyrood/Arthur?s Seat

Perfect location with the station only a 5 minute walk.The only downside is they are trying to move to self service, which takes away from the hotel experience.Other than that, great stay.

Upgraded to a premium room. It was just lovely. And a bargin on a Monday out of season.Great location, nice welcome by staff. Didn't eat here so can't comment.Hope to stay

An overnight with dinner and breakfast for my granddaughters' birthday weekend. Nothing startling but totally adequate for the purpose Granddaughter first hotel stay and she loved itFood & drinks: Food was good, not the best selection but okay. Staff are excellent

Have stayed in different Premier Inns in the UK. This location is amazing! The service was above par, even for this friendly city. Every staff person we encountered was friendly, incredibly helpful and always made us feel welcome. A very clean hotel including rooms and their restaurant. Special mention to Aldonna who was beyond a doubt the most courteous, friendly and kind person we've ever encountered in our travels. An absolute asset to the Premier Inn. Unfortunately, we always find the rooms hot in Premier Inns - thankful to be given extra flat sheets to use in place of the duvet.Rooms: Very clean - basic, but well kept. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and shower.Nearby activities: Brewdog is two doors away and well worth dropping in. Ask if the Canadian bartender is working - he's a delight!Everything on the Royal Mile was walkable from this location - steeper inclines, but that's Scotland for you.Safety: No issues with safety during our stay here, including walking around and dining later into the evenings.Walkability: Absolutely - steeper inclines, but fabulously easy to get about on foot.

It was our first time staying at Premier Inn and it won't be the last! The hotel is super central, just a short walk from the Royal Mile with plenty of pubs nearby to enjoy the authentic Scottish experience. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast is also amazing, super complete to gain strength for the whole day and enjoy the city! Many thanks to the entire team for making our visit 10!

Absolutely in the prime spot for The Royal Mile, Holyrood Parliament and other sites too. Also numerous restaurants & Inns.Rooms: Spotlessly cleaned. Tea/Coffee facility. Mini fridge which is quite handy. A comfortable room for a short break. Highly recommended.Walkability: Easy walking distance to various sites around.Food & drinks: Needless to say there are numerous restaurants & Inns around closely.
