The pizzas had very mean toppings tonight. We all had big gaps of a very dry, thin base (more like pita bread than pizza dough) with no cheese or other toppings. Considering the pizzas were £20 each Pizza Express must be making a huge profit margin. I?ve never been hungry after eating a whole pizza but tonight none of us were satisfied and the prices weren?t inexpensive. My pizza was also stone cold and the female waitress took it away and reheated the same pizza. She was rude and didn?t apologise, just touched the pizza with her hands!? I was here a year ago and the servings were what you?d expect. The male waiter was nice but we had to keep chasing wait staff. Very disappointed.

Went for lunch Macaroni Cheese £18.95 can of Coke £3.95 Total £22.90.
Total spent for 4 having a light lunch £85.
Make your own mind up the cost to make this and present it would be less than a fiver.
Will vote with my feet very disappointing.

l and my family had a disappointing experience at this Pizza Express branch just now. When I politely asked the manager, Michael ( he said his name is Michael and l could complain his behaviour whereever l like! That was his attitude when l said he was unfriendly and rude), if we could sit at a specific seat (the restaurant was more or less empty), rather than the one he recommended at the back, he rudely told us to go somewhere else. His attitude was very unprofessional, rude and made us feel unwelcome. This is not the level of service I expect from Pizza Express where l have been going several pizza express all over UK!
l am also planning to write to the pizza express head office about this incident since it might be a racism issue.

Monday 3rd December went in this restaurant for some lunch. Tables in a mess (not cleared) and was told curtly to come back in 15 minutes. Not very welcoming or particularly polite so we went to Nando?s instead.

I?d avoid this restaurant. Saturday night. It was empty. Food took ages. Didn?t have time for dessert. Over priced. Goes elsewhere.

The food was great, we were just so surprised (and disappointed) at the lack of service, considering the place was less than half full (closer to 1/3) yet it took us over 2 hours to get thru a meal, most of the time was spent waiting on either our order being taken or the next course to arrive... we had 2 young kids, our orders were simple, there seemed to be plenty staff but they were just sooooooo slooooooooowwwww...

Don't go if you're hungry!
We visited the place on a ver quiet Monday evening. Staff works on a pace that is slower than a VAR review. 30 minutes wait for just two pizzas. Most of the staff looked like they really hate their job, including the manager, but the worst seemed to be the young "pizza chef". Just observing him, it's frustrating. He had a miserable attitude.
I feel sorry for the blond eastern European lady, who's the only one who tried to be nice, but surrounded by negativity. Pizza is also very expensive for what it is, even when you have 50% off.
Never again.

We recently visited Pizza Express and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent throughout. Our starters were fresh and wholesome, setting the perfect tone for the meal. The salad and pizza we had as mains were both delicious, with the pizza being carefully prepared and full of flavor.
For dessert, we were equally impressed?both were delicious and just the right portion size. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience, and we left happy with everything we had. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal and attentive service!

I recently visited Pizza Express and had a mostly enjoyable experience. The food was great, and the dessert was lovely. As it was late, the restaurant was quiet, and the staff didn't rush us out, which was appreciated. However, I was disappointed that there was no ice, making my drinks, especially the mocktail, quite warm. Additionally, the oven had broken earlier, so the fudge cake I was craving wasn't available. Despite these minor issues, the overall experience was positive.
Definitely recommend the goat cheese pizza, very tasty.
Was surprised to find chicken toppings were halal, which was also a pleasant surprise.
