It was a warm room and a shower which is what we needed. It was a 10 minute drive from the centre which is brill. However, the room wasn't in the best condition. The walls were cracked and replastered badly, the bathroom door didn't shut properly, there was mould all round the shower walls and the shower head. There was a bad rusty radiator and the window when opened hung at a dodgy, broken angel so didn't trust it enough to keep it open. We were near the entrance and the buzzing sound when the door opened was loud and annoying. It was warm though and the kettle worked so tou could make a brew in the morning. Fairly easy self check-in/out. Would stay again if on a super tight budget, but definitely not if I wanted something half decent.

Steal of a deal! If you want to go on budget friendly trip this is the perfect place. The bus station is right in front of the property and around 25 mins from princess street.The best you could ask for at this price point (breakfast included)I'd choose to stay with them again without a second thought.

The bathroom is moldy, which makes the rooms stink and the bedrooms could do with a deep clean.The beds are quite comfy.The breakfast was very basic and not a lot of choice. No accommodation for people with food intolerances.

Me and 3 friends stayed for two nights, whilst visiting Edinburgh, good accommodation for the price and taxi/bus into the city centre are reasonably priced especially if there is a group of you sharing the costApon arrival given code to gain access to find our room key hanging on a board along with all other keys to room (not a issue for me but can understand how others might feel) room was fine apart from one of the beds was either broken or in dyre need of a new mattress (I sleep well in the worst of conditions so still managed to sleep) but again someone who is a moaner or what not could have probably cause more of a issue with it!Never made it down to breakfast to hungoverAll in all for the price etc it is value for moneyOnly think id say is maybe a full spruce up of the place some new carpets beds etc but again for the price we paid I?m not expecting luxury all in all happy with my stay and would happily stay again in future simply because of the price and a bus from outside take 15 minutes to 20 to get you into town

Did the job OK for a one night stay, comfortable and warm, well located, free parking, and not expensive by Edinburgh standards, but definitely a place in need of some serious investment.Rooms: Clean enough, but damp visible on the walls below the window, general down at heel feel to the decor. Really needs modernisation. Mattress was comfy but not flat, tipped off at one side, probably due to the base. Bedside lamp not working. En suite a bit smelly. No one is around to report anything to, but these are mostly long term issues anyway.Nearby activities: Across the road from Craigmillar Castle and grounds, which are well worth a visit (Castle entry £7.50). Also handy for Cameron Toll shopping centre.Food & drinks: Lovely Vietnamese (?) lady making the toast.

The worst hotel in the world! They are so unprofessional and very bad. Hotel rooms are small and dirty! Bathroom is very dirty, you can not balance hot and cold water from pipes, shower is dirty. In room is very dirty carpet. Walls are so thiny, you can hear voices from another room, every step from another people, even another people breathing. They are so expensive! Female from reception barely speak english, so you can not understand her corectly.

The hostel was very nice and cozy. Our room was really prepared and very clean, the breakfast was very good.The hosts are very welcoming and hospitable.

Not very impressed by the service . No one to greet or officially check us in . The room heaters weren?t on and were switched on after request . Bathroom doors were faulty . The breakfast served was cold . Even boiled eggs weren?t freshly made . No drinking water in the rooms . It was in bad taste to ask to take from the washroom !! Rather disappointed!

This place is very convenient if you are visiting Edinburgh. Even until late night or from early morning you can catch a bus without any issue/ waiting too long.Room was very clean, bathroom was clean , the neighborhood seemed safe. Me and my friend were so happy when we get there until we saw a mouse running to under the bed at night. I am scared to mouses, so we had to on the lights for the whole night.Breakfast room was dusty, everything here needs a little bit of attention.

Overall very happy with the stay. The rooms are small. Bathroom is tiny but it works for what you need. For the price and how cute it is you can't beat it. Check in and out is simple. Floors creak and moan and I worried about waking someone up a bit. I would for sure stay again.

Room wasn't the cleanest we have stayed in but apart from that very well situated on a bus route into the city centre. Nearest pub is a good 15 min walk away, breakfast very basic but a lovely host.Nearby activities: Plenty to do and see with easy access to the city centre.
