“Having recently moved back to Leith, I was delighted to see leith army store was still here :) I remember as a kid my grandad taking me here and I come out the store with all the kit on looking like a mini action man lol. The store is very well stalked with all you could ever need for survival but also they have an excellent selection of workwear for security, forestry, police and other professionals like that! “Colin” the manager is very well informed on his products and is always happy to share his experience and advice you on what best suits your needs!! So if your looking for camping gear or you need to kit your kid out for army cadets, even if your preparing for a zombie apocalypse. I highly recommend paying this store a visit!!!!!”

“On visiting the Alpkit Edinburgh store one thing i noticed immediately was that's it's far bigger than the online photos presented it too be which was a bonus. The store is indeed clean, modern, very well stocked with the layout of the merchandise being well thought out. As for the team members they are very friendly and highly knowledgeable of the merch that they sell whilst at the same time clearly showing a genuine pride in the Alpkit brand.”

“Uncharacteristically I encountered a problem with an online order from Trespass. However, when I visited the shop within Ocean Terminal I was introduced to the manager (Joel) whom couldn’t have been more helpful. Within minutes, I walked out of the shop with replacement items at discounted prices. Furthermore, my online order was fully refunded into my bank account within two days. Flawless customer service from very friendly store staff (!) quickly redeemed my trust in Trespass as my ‘ go to ‘ supplier for all my outdoor pursuit requirements. “Trespass sells everything you could need for reasonably priced outdoor goods. My only slight wrinkles (why I've deducted a star) are (1) service quality is very dependent on which member of staff you get (2) if something isn't in stock in store, you may be able to get it online but it won't necessarily be the same price as stores have free rein to set their own discounts and offers. Stock can be a bit tricky and online click and collect takes a while, but good, reliable and fairly cheap outdoor goods which are ideal for kids. I would like to see more about environmental and ethical credentials, though. Recommended particularly for emergency outdoor purchases as very good selection of water bottles, handy packaway rainproof jackets, foil and fleece blankets and gloves/hats/accessories!”
