Had a great experience in this store, I wanted to change to 02, they made it very easy!I had the extremely helpful and knowledgeable advisor Talitha. I had loads of questions and she was more than happy to help and answer them all! What I also thought was amazing is they did not try and push a sale, they wanted to make sure you got the best deal only if it suited. Even went out thier way to see if they could improve the deal when I was saying that I was confident in going for the deal!There was another staff member who was also friendly and was nice to speak too! Never got his name sorry!Anyway 02 please if you read this, the staff in this store are great, and make you want to join (not due to wanting to push a sale) but instead of generally seeing if they can help you with a deal that fits round the customer and are very knowledgeable.Thankyou very much Talitha and the rest of the edinburgh St James Quarter team!

I had an excellent customer experience with Ahmed at the O2 shop yesterday. He was professional, polite, pragmatic, patient and very helpful. I wish all staff (and the O2 app) were like Ahmed!

Been trying to rectify a contract payment issue for months over the phone to no avail so visited the store instead. Stuart was a massive help fighting our case for us. The other staff (I think Jonathan was one of their names?) were very friendly and were empathetic to our situation. We later got a call from the o2 helpline with a solution to the issue thanks to Stuart?s persistance. Very grateful!

My mum and I came in today for a number of queries and Maria was beyond helpful. She took time and consideration to make sure we understood everything, she went the extra mile numerous times to get us the best deals, discounts and contracts possible. Couldn?t be happier with the service, the team as a whole was so lovely to deal with. Thank you guys :)

Went in to purchase a new payg handset with rewards I've built up. Asked staff if can use these told no point blank. Although have always been able to use previously... called o2 customer service spoke to Tayqeer ( fantastic service ) he has confirmed rewards can be used towards handsets. Maybe some staff training needed in this store??

I got my sim swapped from 4g to 5g for myiPhone 14 pro max at this store. Since the swap I?ve been back to the store 3 times because I stared having two particular issues. Most of the calls I receive show up as calls from an unknown caller. Even calls from the contacts saved on my phone show up as calls from unknown caller. Second issue is if my phone is connected to a wifi network and I leave this network range my phone doesn?t connect to o2 mobile data automatically. I have to activate and then deactivate flight mode for my phone to connect to o2s mobile data every single time.Diagnoses I have received are frustrating and downright stupid. I was told that perhaps my friends are playing a prank on me by turning their caller id on and off. Apparently this staff members friends are doing it all the time so it is possible. I mean how can one argue with such professional opinion. Other time I was told that most people are having these issue and it won?t be resolved even if I moved to another service provider.I was told to upgrade my talk time package because my phone won?t connect to the mobile data if I have anything under 1gb allowance left. I was also told that most phones don?t in fact switch from Wi-Fi to mobile date automatically. That I have to turn my Wi-Fi off manually when I leave the Wi-Fi zone in order for my phone to connect to mobile data. Apparently peopleare doing this all the time including the staff members herself.It is extremely frustrating. They are so arrogant and just don?t listen. Their solution to a problem is ?you are not the only one who is experiencing this issue?. Oh well then let?s just keep paying £70 a month for a service that doesn?t work. I have 2 years left on my contract and I don?t really see O2 offering a solution so I am stuck.Shame on O2 for such poor customer service.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Customer Service at O2 StoreI recently visited the O2 store with a pressing issue regarding my phone, which is fortunately still under warranty. To my dismay, the encounter left me utterly frustrated and disappointed with the service provided.Upon entering the store, I approached an Oppo representative hoping for some assistance and a resolution to my problem. Instead, I was met with an appalling level of indifference and incompetence. The representative not only brushed off my concerns but also had the audacity to claim that the defect would only worsen over time, citing their own experience with the same issue. This blatant disregard for customer satisfaction and their lack of professionalism were truly disheartening.What added insult to injury was the revelation that O2, the store I had turned to for help, seemed unwilling to take any responsibility for the matter. I was informed that they would do absolutely nothing to address the problem, leaving me with a defective device and a sense of complete helplessness.This experience has made me seriously question the integrity of both the O2 store and the Oppo brand. As a customer who has invested not only money but also trust in these entities, I am appalled by the lack of accountability and the apathetic attitude displayed.I hope this review serves as a cautionary tale for anyone considering seeking assistance at the O2 store or purchasing an Oppo product. The level of customer service I encountered was shockingly subpar, and I strongly advise potential customers to think twice before choosing these options. It's a shame that a warranty-backed concern led to such a disappointing encounter.In conclusion, my visit to the O2 store was nothing short of a complete letdown. The dismissive attitude, coupled with the refusal to address a legitimate issue, has left me thoroughly dissatisfied and disheartened. As a loyal customer, I expected much better and deserve much better.
