“Good place with affordable prices in Edinburgh to have beers and cubas. The chicken wings, although spicy, are very good. The tables are very dirty and not cleaned but we give it 4 stars for how good it is and the speed and attention of the waiters.”

“We were here on 27.2.24 to see crowba..great venue..great location atmosphere amazing drinks choice vaired and reasonably priced...a great night all in all , only bad point was man in male toilets cornering, intimidating and pretty much threatening my husband for payment for a spray of some cologne. ..i dont know if hes employed by venue but if hes offering sprays he should say upfront this costs money and not demand bank details or cash.We saw him do this to a number of people”

“Not been out out in a while but the downstairs The Street Disco is a time to sit or stand and chirp away with pals, get onto the dance floor for a wee boogie and not be too tempted to spin one of the many big disco balls hanging above the dance floor.
The choonz are very disco happy. Although thinking it has lots of potential, with it's brown stone back wall, ambient light, great DJ area, and good peeps.. snapped out of that and got back to being present and merry with friends and positive late night atmosphere. Go and take in a big slice of late night disco cheese in a safe, inclusive joint and thank them for it. Cheers cx”

“Always hectic and always fun. Security on the door are jovial and the bar staff are super professional. It can get really busy so its always good that the bar staff know who's next in line. Be prepared to meet lots characters and chat with randoms!”

I’m grateful for the 100+ nights I spent here, where I made and lost friends, discovered myself, and developed my personality. However, I won’t be returning because I’ve moved on to new adventures in life. Yes, it might have had a bit of a peculiar smell, but who cares? It was a judgment-free zone, offering affordable drinks and music that got your heart racing. It was a place where you could end up going home with someone you’d never forget.
