I always have a lovely experience at the salon. Lorraine does an amazing lash lift and eyebrow tiny and tidy, and gave me great advice on how to help regrow my lashes after some postpartum sparse areas. She also took my waxing virginity and it was very quick and easy! I am a regular now at the salon for lashes, brows and waxing, and sometimes even pop in on my way past just to say hello as Lorraine is so lovely! Highly recommend everyone at Natalie Mackenzie Beauty Collective.

Natalie did my hair and makeup for my wedding as well as all my bridesmaids and working with her was an absolute dream from start to finish. She managed phone consultations, WhatsApp group chats and trials with total calm and professional but was also a total blast to work with, she felt more like a friend who was helping us get ready and genuinely wanted to make sure we were looking as amazing as we could do on the day. Her pre-wedding skin care tips had me glowing on the day and the actual makeup and hair looked stunning and stayed all day for all of us. Absolutely perfect service!Services: Bridal services

I cannot recommend Natalie enough. She and her team have become my go-to salon for hair and makeup over the last several years (including hair cuts, colouring, and fancy up-dos), but I was most impressed with her bridal hair and makeup she did at my wedding. She came to the venue at 6 am to have time to do not only my hair and makeup, but also that of my mother and mother-in-law to make us all feel special and look great, and she found the perfect balance between beautiful, lasting makeup and keeping me feeling like myself. Natalie is incredible. INCREDIBLE. She did the hair and make up for myself on my wedding day, and for all my bridesmaids and she wowed us all (no easy thing to do!). The hair and make up trial were a dream, and it surpassed all expectations on the day itself too. We all looked and felt amazing, and Natalie was a delightful calm presence on the morning itself. Natalie was the hairdresser at my wedding, styling myself, three bridesmaids and two mums.She arrived promptly and took no time to get set up and organised in a very busy room. She worked with each person individually to get their styles perfect and fitting to each person and their hair requirements, including one person with alopecia. She worked non-stop all morning to get everyone perfect and left plenty of time at the end for touch ups - she did not leave until she was 100% happy with everyone's hair.She worked well with our MUA and had a system in place so a chair was never empty all morning!At my trial, she reviewed my references and worked with me and my hair type to get the style to just how I liked it. I would thoroughly recommend booking a trial beforehand as it was a great way to chat to Natalie and get the style perfect before the wedding, with a little trial and error!I would 100% recommend Natalie for any bridal hair needs, and her salon in Edinburgh is just lovely.
