Although I knew that I wouldn't be able to buy anything (as most of the items are over £100) I just had to enter this shop when I found myself in front of it. And I don't regret a second for just entering to feed my curiosity, because I had one of the best conversations and shopping experience ever.Joanna has been such a wonderful host. She had the patience and time to discuss with me about vintage style, which has been really inspiring to me as a new vintage enthusiast (and hopefully future collector). She is a true professional and takes high care of her clothes, so don't get upset if she's not going to let you go through the pieces as you would in normal vintage (or charity) shops. It's because she makes sure they are all in the most perfect condition and cleaned. So let yourself guided by her expertise and knowledge, as you will gain more this way.Thank you so much Joanna, the visit to your boutique has really made my day and it's the highlight of my trip to Edinburgh. And sharing thoughts and the rationale for why you like certain eras and why you own certain pieces. Also, I would have really regreted if I didn't leave with anything so after I spent enough time in the shop to familiarise myself with the objects around me, I did purchase a pair of astonishing earrings that go so perfectly with most of my wardrobe. So I can officially say I started my journey towards collecting vintage.Highly recommend true vintage enthusiasts to go visit Miss Bizio Couture

Surprised to see the poor reviews here. I think they are unfair. I spent an hour in the shop yesterday and the owner wasn't anything other than knowledgable, passionate about clothes and friendly. She has clearly dedicated her life to amassing this collection, and what a collection it is!I think the talk given to customers when they enter is entirely appropriate - there are clothes in the shop not only worth thousands but would be completely impossible to replace if damaged. If you want a rummage, go to Armstrongs. If you want to have a tailored shopping experience in an Aladdin's cave of fashion - come here. It is expensive, as explained when you enter, there is very little under £100, but it is all fantastic condition and kept beautifully. I bought a skirt I am in love with and will definitely be back!

Personalised service from someone passionate about her collection. Told her what we were looking for and came away with a dress of a lifetime and a necklace to take it to the next level! Amazing shop, wonderful things to see and can appreciate why she wont tolerate rummaging or pulling out as things can get ruined. Just be respectful and friendly and you will get the same back!

"Little under £100 and if you want anything ask me for it". You can't browse through the rack for yourself.

Clearly a vanity project for a lady devoid of customer service skills. Rude and over bearing. Whilst browsing I took out my phone to search for directions and was warned not to take photos -for which I had no intention. Pity.

Miss Bizio is the real deal. - 'Welcome to my wardrobe!' came the gleeful, exuberant cry that welcomed us; eccentric and loveable and chic. The lady in question is one serious fashionista, with her stunning collection of garments spanning the lengths of the shop. It's clear from even the shortest of conversations with Miss B that this delightful and fabulously-dressed lady lives and breathes fashion. And now, she's giving Edinburgh a peek of the vintage goodies from her 30 year-strong wardrobe, whilst brimming with a genuinely infectious passion for her boutique and every single item in it. Her reasoning; she didn't have a daughter to pass on such pretty things. I can't be the only gal thinking: 'Miss Bizio, can I be your adopted daughter, oh, pretty, pretty please?' So, whilst it was a fleeting stop before close, I sure got giddy laying eyes on the packed rails. - Such beautiful, unique and well-loved pieces! As Jody says, Miss Bizio is not cheap. - It's all genuine vintage and the quality and selection reflects the price; you're getting something really special. And if you're after something specific, I've no doubt that Miss Bizio will do her very best to find just what you're after. She was willing to help me out with anything I needed during my quick stop. I do look forward to saving some pennies and stopping by the magical vintage whirlwind that is Miss Bizio Couture once again.

It took me a heartbeat to put two and two together. I've been walking by this place and intermittently throwing myself at their windows for a few weeks now but it wasn't until their Yelp pictures started popping up in their teasing vintage glory that I realized it was one in the same. Seriously - they are female baiting wizards and you will be hard pressed to walk by whatever immaculate coat/dress they have on display on their stoop without walking by. Let's get one thing very clear here: this is vintage. Not thrift. If you go in here seeking a deal, you're likely to leave disappointed because this place is pricey. But it's one of the few vintage stores i've been to (world wide) that can decently justify the price. She's got Pucci in impeccable condition, Prada accessories, a Pierre Cardin cape that i've actually DREAMED off wafting down the streets of Stockbridge in its turquoise glory. It's like walking through the closet of the way more successful, theoretical me. I would buy 99% of the things in here... I can afford to buy about 2%. But a gal can dream. If you have more budget (or a desire to spend your own 2% on something sparkly), are looking for a special occasion dress or want to taunt a woman buy parading your fabulous cape through Stockbridge, this is worth your time to pop in.
