We were here on Saturday 8th of March for my nephews 18th .
Our waitress was Dominika she was so lovely and accommodating from the moment we all arrived as there was a big party of us she was amazing.
Food was amazing would definitely recommend and return .

The service and dinner were all excellent. We had the shared steak experience Chateaubriand. We finished the night with a lovely dessert birthday for my husband. Lydia who took care of us made our birthday dinner extra special. An absolutely fabulous stay in Edinburgh. Thank you ??

I made a reservation for a large group through their website.
The place is spacious and very beautiful.
In culinary terms I have to say that everything was delicious, we ordered menus and tried everything, as I said, everything was delicious.
I like Silvia's attention, she treated us great, she even left us an iPad to see all the possible allergies of each dish.
When I recommend places to eat in Edinburgh, this will be a fixture.

Very good experience overall. We chose the 3 course meal and were very happy with all the choices that we had. I personally do not like dessert that much, however, I was able to replace a dessert with a cocktail. Usually not the biggest fan of cocktails, however, this one was really good and would be happy to have another one. Great steaks and good service.

Our 3rd visit here from Australia and every time it's been absolutely brilliant. The best streaks and excellent service. We can't wait to come back to Scotland for this reason.

The service was excellent, and the food was just perfect.
I was with my friends so the atmosphere was 10/10.

First time trying Miller and Carter and our meal was fantastic. We ordered the butchers block and the steaks were perfection, everything on the plate was amazing. Definitely recommend the poached pair for dessert we shared this and it was the perfect end to a perfect meal. Coffee's were also lovely.
Our server was so helpful and made this experience memorable, we never managed to get her name as she finished her shift before we finished our meal but she was superb.

Fab food and service, but going down to the toilets it was very off putting.
I have been to this restaurant lots of times and the toilets let the place down with the smell.

All of the food was excellent, especially the Wagyu steak. The drinks were delicious too. However, our waitress was really not.
We have been coming to miller and Carter for years now and have never felt so disappointed with the service. She was very passive aggressive and extremely unaccommodating.
Firstly, she would not let us order just one starter (the prawns on the Valentines set menu) although we were still willing to pay full price and just wanted to share one portion of prawns, she would not allow us. Felt very uncomfortable with how she was just standing pressuring us to pick something else although there was nothing else we wanted. I asked if we could have a few minutes to think and she rolled her eyes before leaving.
The next thing was that when it came to desserts, we were quite full so asked if we could please get our dessert boxed (asked for the warm cookie without the ice cream to just be put in a box for us) she said that it was impossible, as well as everything else on the dessert menu. We are not quite sure how a cookie cannot be put in a box.
So we ended up having a starter we didn?t want, and leaving with no dessert even though we paid the full set menu price. I used to work in a restaurant and would have at least asked the chef if it was possible to box up the dessert and try to be accommodating for the guests.
We do not know her name as she didn?t introduce herself like the servers usually do.
She made us feel very uncomfortable the whole time.
