I am disgusted in the way I have been treated by the billion pound company marks and Spencer?s! I put my little girl in one of their trolleys and the trolley ripped and pulled her brand new coat, imagine if that was her skin and scared her for life! They asked me for proof, I sent it, they inspected the trolleys afterwards and found nothing wrong, (didn?t ask for the trolley on the day it happened) asked for the coat to be sent, then asked for receipt and because of how much it was, they said that it wasn?t their fault and would not be replacing the coat that their trolleys ruined! Absolutely disgusting, I am literally shocked at their response. Now I have to buy a new coat because of their negligence. I am so upset at all the stress and anxiety this whole situation has caused me, I dreaded every email they sent me because they didn?t believe me and didn?t care. To make it worse this all happened Christmas Eve, it ruined my Christmas Day as it?s all I could think about. Please someone tell me this is illegal, now I have to take them to court. More head ache for me, I only went in for a biscuit tin, wish I hadn?t bothered. Makes me feel sick.

The clothing department was ok, it didn't have a lot of choice, on the plus side it was very clean and bright.I am a new (ambulatory) wheelchair user and I could not get my wheelchair to fit in between the stands, especially down the lingerie aisle, I couldn't even reach the tights i wanted to look at.If M&S moved their stands so that people with mobility aids could get down them, that would be great!

So disappointed in marks and Spencer's.The lack of stock in this store, is becoming a regular occurrence.Barley had a breakfast pack slice sausage for months. Apparently the problem is with their Scottish supplier of these products.A company off this scale should be able to sort these things out before they irise. Truth is really they do not pay local farmers the increased prices farmers are asking for.But can find thousands if not millions to import foreign fruit!! Especially apples at this time off year. Giving it's autumn and apple season in Scotland !! You could source these things locally from the Scottish borders or within Scotland supporting local communities. Oppose to having the fruit either flown or shipped over from overseas blows my mind.Reducing marks and Spencer's carbon footprint making it more greener. Your fruit may last a bit longer too.Win win then you would be able to use the money spared to support local farmers.

Went to cafe today just after 4pm to find the Cafe was so dirty, tables piled high with dirty dishes, only a couple of clean tables in the whole place. Person going about with a cloth in his hand but still walked passed all the dirty tables. You expect better from M&S

I would like to say that Karen that severed my on Tuesday went above and beyond. While at till she pointed out that I had the wrong trousers for my son, Karen then went and tried to find the correct size etc unfortunately she couldn't find any but offered to order them online. I really appreciated this as school clothes shopping can be hard with 3 children in tow lol thanks again

Managed to get all my son's school clothes this year. Last year we managed to get absolutely nothing and had to resort to going online.I was surprised how cheap everything was, making use of their 3 for 2 on good quality, soft feeling cotton shorts etc for summer. 2 pairs of school shorts was £10, expecting that was just for one pair. The only thing that is problematic and it seems to be all shops, is the lack of choice and sizes of male clothing. How can a shop be so big yet have so little when boys and men still need to wear clothes just like women and girls? Just the level of choice/variation in girls' school skirts, shirts, blouses, dresses, shorts, shoes, jumpers, cardigans etc when that's not there for boys. 2 different types of boys school shoes were stuffed in a tiny corner across 2 columns of arms while next to it was a 3 bay wide selection for girls. We didn't get any shoes because my son didn't like the look of one pair and the other was hideous, clumpy and looked like they'd fit better in Shoe Zone (except the price was extortionate). Then there's the selection of swimwear, underwear, jackets, full outfit sets, accessories, dresses, trousers, leggings, skirts, socks and tights etc etc. that took up 75% of the kids section just for girls. The back to school area took up half of the kids pad of the shop, so does that mean the boys selection was reduced to accommodate or does that get filled with more girls stuff when it's gone? The selection of baby clothes was larger than the boys as well.Men and boys like clothes just as much as girls. They should be given just as much space and variation in clothes that's given to women and girls. It's a nightmare having a son and husband because you can never seem to buy them anything!

They deliberately turn off most of the self checkout machines. The idea is they don't want to have more than a few open or they would want more staff to supervise them. So half are switched off at all times, leading to completely unnecessary queues.Of course the only reason self checkout exists is as a way for companies to fire employees. So now not only are you doing labour on the supermarkets behalf by bagging your own, you also have the privilege of waiting in a huge queue to do so.I hope Marks management feels very proud of themselves for delivering another fantastic efficiency, at the expense of their customers and employees. The £11 a hour you save by not giving another human a job is definitely worth it. Great work ???

Sitting in the cafe with a cuppa without a scone I?d hoped for. When I asked if they do a vegan scone the polite young man directed me to them however they were gluten free and contained hydrogenated milk therefore I enquired what I could have as there was an array of cakes surely one would be suitable for a vegan customer but no nothing. I am sorely disappointed in this day and age marks and Spencer?s really need to get on board with the change of eating habits. I can?t believe I?m sitting here and there was nothing to eat if it wasn?t for the fact I?d arranged to meet someone I would have left and gone to somewhere that is more modern and forward thinking.

Surprisingly affordable for basic food shop. Excellent produce, just need to keep any eye on expiry dates as can be quite short.
