Prices are a little higher than the other stores but it's convenient when you need something quick. The store is well organized and offer nice products.

This morning, around 7:10 AM, I visited the Margiotta shop in Shandon. I used to go there daily for a takeaway croissant or pastry, and their 7 AM opening was convenient. Since moving to a bigger location nearby, the shop looks great, but the staff?s attitude has kept me away.
Hoping for a better experience, I stopped by today. As I went to pay, a staff member near the till was sweeping at an agonizingly slow pace. When she processed my purchase, she looked completely miserable. Worse, a man who seemed to be a supervisor came to the till, gave me a look as if to say, Why are you even here?, and didn?t bother to greet me.
For such a well-stocked shop, the poor customer service ruins the experience.

I love fresh bread and convenience, the lotto machine is always down. A bit pricey compare to main supermarkets. Great if you need something quick.

Margiotta is an excellent much appreciated shop for all your needs .Margiotta?s staff are always courteous ,helpful and are much valued by me as a regular customer .Thank you .

Still the same good old Margiotta store, similar to what it always was ever since it took over Santangeli. As always, many good authentic Italian products here.

I collected meat from Margiotta provided by Hugh Grierson Organic. I wasn't sure of the system and phoned a couple of times to confirm when I could pick it up. Both people I spoke to were very well mannered and informative. When I arrived to pick up the meat they were again very helpful. Will certainly use again.
