I'm so sad to be leaving this review, but bring back the shop that Cat Rescue took over. This place is soulless, with non-existent customer service. I didn't even get a hello in return when I walked in, just a silent glare. I won't be returning, or donating.

Yes, the prices are decent and relatively cheap but the customer service is awful. The cashier was chatting with people the entire time so you could hear the same conversation repeated all over again.( Apparently the person was surprised so many people like animals! Just lovely! ) I was also blamed for not asking for a receipt on time and treated with remorse when I requested one; I did not receive it at the end so I cannot return my item. This is not the first time something like this has happened.

Just awfully rude staff. When taking in donations they act like it?s the worst thing you can do as it adds to their workload. Huffing and puffing. Really quite shocking considering it?s a charity.

Oh my god. Who is that lady who works there?! So rude! I was in a few days ago and was shocked by this elderly lady's attitude and customer service. Today I gave it another chance. As soon as I walked in I was rudely demanded to wash my hands as soon as I walked it. I gladly accepted but surely is a nicer way to put this across. But today (25th July 2020) I quickly wanted to go in to have a look at the vinyls. After barely 5 minutes in the shop I was ready to pay with an arm full of old records and dvds. Rather than come to serve me the lady clapped her hands in my face and said "come on, hurry up" I explained I was simply shopping and wanting to pay for the items. She responded "well we have someone waiting to come in so hurry up". I left the items behind and left the shop. I understand at the moment there is a one in one out policy but is there a time limit for time allowed in the shop?! I was barely 4-5 minutes in the shop and I had many times I wanted to buy. Shame. I will never be back. I know it is all for a good cause but worse customer service I have experienced. I will never return.

Unfortunately my visit was marred by two very rude and very surly older male employees.The lady who obviously also works there was manically rushing around demanding she had to pour huge amounts of hand sanitiser on every customer.Overall it was an extremely unpleasant visit.Definitely not recommended.My visit date 11/10/20

its a lovely small shop full of really good bargins and often really usefull things to stock a kitchen like bowls and plates etc as some lovely bric a brac. The staff are lovely too and its nice knowing the money raised here goes to a great cause
