Entered the store and was met by Sam the cheery security guard, always makes sure I'm eating well, walked up the first Isle with him, as we got to the end we could see a wee auld lady waving frantically, Sam and I went over and she asked Sam to reach for the 1 litre bottle of milk she needed, unfortunately Sam, being just a little taller than the wee auld lady, couldn't reach it either, meanwhile, at the tills Diane noticed what was happening, tied more knots in her t-shirt (for aerodynamics) and sprinted up the freezer isle, with one stride she mounted the last freezer and flipped onto Sam's shoulders, Diane, balancing perfectly, urged Sam towards the fridge, Diane retrieved the carton and her graceful back flip dismount from Sam was something to behold, she presented the wee auld lady with her milk and walked proudly back to the tills while the whole store erupted in cheers, amazing.

Doors locked ten minutes before closing time. Refused entry to customers. Very intimidating store manager.

Closed before 9pm on a Saturday. Either the staff are lazy and closing early or they just close whenever they want. Shambolic. Never visit again.
Edit?revisited again on Friday 30th of may and was closed 10 minutes before! Shambles! Won?t ever be going near the place.

A gigantic defunct fun fair takes up 80% of the available car park. Absolute chaos with an unmarked system of one way passages. Frustrated customers reversing and exiting the car park causing stand stills. The funfair has a lot of hardware with sharp bits of fence and other items sticking out ready to scratch your car or for your kid to fall onto. Worst Lidl I?ve ever been to, avoid!

Have been shopping in this store nearly every week for seven years. It's my local. Went in for a couple of bottles of wine for a barbeque. One on the shelf, asked a member of staff about stock and was told to come back in 2 hours. Nope, went to Asda instead. Dismissive & unhelpful staff member. Will be shopping elsewhere now.

Always satisfying my protein pancake needs. Milosz goes above and beyond for his customers, even getting on his hands and knees to go elbow deep in a stock pallet to get me my protein pancakes ??

I was in Lidl at Westside plaza in wester hailes today and was going to get limes but some were mouldy... that's unacceptable....cross contamination... breathing in mould spores while you shop... unacceptable.i should have taken a photo and told a member of staff (defo will next time) its one of the few shops in the area so we have to use this place,post code descrimination??? I never leave reviews but I've seen this in this shop for years now and today was the last straw...sort it out!!!

Can't go shopping in my local community without a security guard following me around I had to ask him to back off. Followed me around the shop in every isle everytime I stopped to pick something up he would stand there and watch I will be taking my weekly shop somewhere elce order a delivery service instead. Is it because I'm white I must be a thief. Not worth a 1 star

Been a customer at this store for over 2 years now, the most recent security guard, blatantly follows me and others customers around the shop and can be quite intimidating. I understand he has a job to do but it is very obvious it is targeted and putting me off shopping there!
