We loved it. We were warmly greeted by the host. There was complimentary sherry in our room. They also have a bar which you can help yourself to drinks which works on an honesty system. There's a fireplace in the lounge to sit in front of. Nothing was a problem for the staff. Bus outside the door to take you into the city... read full comment

Staying at this hotel was not a great experience. While the staff was very polite, as common with Scottish hospitality, the building was not clean and the shower didn’t work. Zero water pressure that vacillated between freezing cold and scalding hot. Cramped, poorly maintained facilities. Do not recommend.
