Don't trust them with anything valuable and I would recommend avoiding this place in general. I handed off my wedding dress, underskirt and veil (in a wedding dress box and the dress inside a dress bag with a white hanger) to be cleaned in November 2023 and finally got them back now in February 2024. I was served by this older lady, who seemed to be in charge, and she originally told me it was gonna take 3 weeks for them to wash it, but it ended up taking them over 12 weeks! I ended up having to go there multiple times and ask about the progress, and when she finally had "my dress" washed at the end of January 2024, she tried to give me another woman's dress! I tried to tell her that "This is not my dress!" and she looked at me and said "Yes, it is. This is your dress!", like I wouldn't remember my own carefully picked out wedding dress that I got married in....I then offered to show her pictures of my wedding day and only then she agreed that they'd made a mistake and went to look for the correct dress, underskirt and veil. After a while she finally found them, but the dress was STILL unwashed! I finally got everything back in February, but when I checked the dress, I noticed that the belt was quite ripped with missing diamonds and that one of the bra cups was hanging off as well. I pointed this out, but wasn't offered any money back. They had also kept / lost the wedding dress bag and the white hanger, but I only noticed this after getting home and really don't want to go back to that store ever again, so they can keep them. Wish I could give less than 1 star...

I brought a shirt in December for a dry cleaning. After few days, they informed me they couldn't wash it due to an issue with their machine, so I need to come back later. But after few weeks, and going to the place many times, they told me that my shirt has been lost.It was a surprise when I have been told I could only chose between a refund, taking into account the depreciation of the shirt, and a free cleaning, not both. But they finally told me that the shirt was too old to get a refund.During this all time, they've been telling me they will call me back to give me an update. It never happened.A piece of advice, don't bring any valuable clothes. Mine was of a tailored shirt.I now need to find another dry cleaner.

I had 12 tshirts and 3 pants to be ironed for the first time at this dry cleaner. The clothes had creases all over and seem like they weren't even ironed. I complained to the manager who agreed to re-iron the tshirts although was unapologetic. I came back and found the same creases so I just gave up and left the shop quietly lol even though I checked the status of the tshirts. Worst dry cleaner I have ever experienced ! I have attached pictures of tshirts just out of the bag.

We dropped off a small bag of laundry here while visiting. Initially, there was some confusion around high pricing due to a temporary worker's mistake. Thankfully, Mags was there when we picked up the laundry, and she made everything right. For knowledge, they charge £27.50 for a bag of wash and fold laundry. £50 for 2 bags. Our clothes were cleaned well, and we really enjoyed talking with Mags!

We were traveling through Edinburgh and in need of same day ?fluff and fold? laundry service. The team at Johnson?s were so lovely, good humored and turned our order around same day as promised for a fraction of the cost our hotel wanted to charge us. Fabulous job!

Mags! Go see Mags! Amazing service. Mags went above and beyond for us to get our laundry done quickly. We only had a couple days in Edinburgh and weren?t sure if we had enough time to get our clothes washed. Mags made it happen. She was so sweet and delightful, one of the friendliest people we?ve met during our 2 week trip to Europe. If you need any laundry service or dry cleaning, please use Johnsons. My sister and I were visiting on holiday, traveling to Ireland, Scotland, and London. We thought our hotel had laundry, though we were told on arrival that it did not. We found this gem of Johnsons Cleaners and the lovely lady who works there. We dropped off our clothing on Monday afternoon and it was fresh and ready for us on Wednesday morning, ready to move on to the next town! I didn?t catch her name, but the lady who works there is so friendly and chipper. She remembered us by name. If ever back in Edinburgh, we will certainly use again!Service: Laundry wash & fold

?A five star service?I went to this shop for a passport photo for my newborn, and the lady was so helpful and patient ( it?s not easy to take a picture of a 3 week baby with both eyes opened) ! I strongly recommend this place.Thank you
