My car was parked outside My house when someone parked behind in a van drove along the back corner of my car with his van and left alot of damage. I took it too the guys and they gave me a rough price the total was slightly more than quoted but the back end of the car looks brand new again would definitely recommend from my own experience.Services: Painting

I took my new XC60 in as had scraped the metallic paint - booked it in as they are busy (having got an on the spot fair price). Just picked up car (booked in 8.30am and got it back 3pm) - lovely job from friendly people. Will take my 911 in there for wheel arch work too.Service: Body & Trim

An elderly woman scraped my car and left a dent, almost broke the headlight and had my front bumper dangling while it was parked when i was at work. Phoned my insurance but they didnt wanna fix it cuz the car was modified which is true, They gave me money instead and had to find a different garage to get it fixed. Went to JRM coachworks and after a week they already fixed it and car looks brand new although most of the process probably went to ordering replacement parts so really it only took 1 day to get it fixed. Plus I got it fixed for a very reasonable price. Will comeback here again if anything else happens to my car. And dashcams are very useful little things. Buy one.Services: Painting

After collecting the car today I would easily give JRM 5 stars for the quality of work done and the speediness of the service. If I could give them no stars then I would.I took my car there to get rust repairs on both arches and rear sills. They had a look at the car, saying it wasn't to bad and quoted me £1000 for the repairs which I thought was fair. A few weeks later my car went in for its repairs and I got it back a week later. I'm a mechanical engineer by trade so when I got the car back I had it on jack stands to inspect the work that was carried out and I was in disbelieve. None of the rear sill was repaired, instead it was just painted over and you could see the rust underneath still. The arches looked like they had been just skimmed with filler and within a couple of days they cracked. I took the car back to them where they agreed to fix the sills and other issues. The second time I picked the car all looked well. It wasn't until a couple months later when the weather was good could I look properly at their work, bearing in mind that the car had been in twice. I was horrified. They hadn't fixed any of the rust issues, instead covered it up with ridiculous amounts of body filler and underseal. Any welding that was carried out was shocking and instead of cutting out the metal they just welded patches of new metal over the existing rusty metal, just hiding it. After challenging them with the consumer rights act 2015 I was just ignored and they refused to give me my monet back so I could go elsewhere to get work rectified. I am now carrying out the work myself as because of them I do not trust car garages anymore. I know there are good reviews out there for JRM and this was one of the reasons I choice them but they are utter cowboys and should not be trading. Your car may appear to be fixed but underneath it will be held together with bondo and underseal. I also asked kindly if they would take photos of the work as it was carried out so I have a record if I ever sold the car. Apparently the guys phone "broke. " Instead of carrying out the work they should have contacted me saying it was worse that they thought and it would cost more to rectify which I would be happy to spend more, knowing it was rectified properly. Or if it was uneconomical to repair they should have said and not taken on the work and completely botched it. I'm now £1000 out of pocket and having to do it all myself and with the work they have done it's even more difficult with the amount of body filler and injected rubber. Please avoid this garage at all costs! COWBOYS.

Good work, but awful customer service! M of staff took pics of damage on Friday, said should receive email from Jim on Tues or Wed next - did not. I called up once on Thurs , told would look into, but they didn't. I called again, spoke to Jim (head guy) and he said would check and call me back straight away - he never called back. I used before, so know they do ok work, but seems they are not interested in getting new business!

I recently visited here to have a Multimac child seat fitted. I made a journey for this, as JRM are the only official fitting partner based in Scotland. Both on the telephone, and in person, I was very impressed by the friendly, helpful and professional service I received. Thanks a lot guys!
