They have a separate fryer, and their fries/chips are delicious! Delicious vegan and gluten-free options all around, including a full gluten-free English breakfast and the most divine BBQ jackfruit sandwich I?ve ever had. The gluten-free bread and sponge cake were quite good too. As a Celiac, didn?t get sick after and felt very safe! The waiter was also so kind.

Lovely and cozy place. Offers also gluten free options and staff is friendly. There is even a small patio behind the house, it was a nice place to have a dinner after a busy day.

I had the oyster mushroom sandwich and it was delicious! I had been to Holy Cow two years ago and the food was the same quality. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Vegan oasis in central Edinburgh.

Had the full vegan breakfast, a sweetened Matcha (the blue one, fabulous) and apple tea. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was also outstandingly nice and fast. Can't recommend this place enough!

I Had the breakfast, which was quite nice, but not a lot for the very high price. Also the Service could be 'a Bit better' Takes quite Long until they Clean the table....
The staff was very nice anyway?

Absolutely superb. Ate here three times in one week because nothing else came close. Mains, drinks, desserts, vibe and service all 13 out of 10.

An all Vegan cafe/restaurant, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. This will be my go too place in Edinburgh.

Holy Cow is a bit hidden but a worthwhile spot. It was wonderful.
In my time in the UK (Cotswolds, London, and up into the Highlands), I've been running into acidic or burnt coffee. My latte and my partner's dirty chai latte at Holy Cow were well balanced, smooth, and delightful.
Additionally, we had the avocado sandwich and full vegan breakfast. Everything was fresh and tasty. My partner considered becoming a full-time vegan while here. He also raved about how good the bread was (not gluten-free). I also enjoyed my gluten free bread. It was soft and complimentary to my food.
We arrived before the lunch rush but it was getting busy as we were leaving.

Absoloutly fantastic. A plant based/vegan must visit.
Food was excellent, staff were lovely. Extremely quiet for a city centre location. With a gorgeous private patio

Cozy place with a good vegan menu if you're interested in 'comfort food'. The dishes are a bit simple but good and staff is very friendly and helpful
