Excellent cocktail bar. The atmosphere was fantastic, very chill and clean, and the cocktails were high quality. The bartenders were friendly and helpful, and they made us cocktails to our taste - even letting us try some cocktails they were working on (their take on an amaretto sour was phenomenal). Wonderful cocktails and even better bartenders who make them! This is a MUST do for anyone visiting or local in Edinburgh. Peter is fabulous, definitely ask for him! More than just gin, they can make anything you can think of!

Just like their sister establishment above, heads or tales exceeds all expectations. The general vibe and atmosphere are crafted to perfection, as well as their small plates and fantastic cocktails. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Will always return.

My friend and I had a poor experience at Heads and Tales last Friday. We had a table booked from 5 PM but bar staff failed to inform us that it was only for 2 hours (they did not mention this while my friend called to make a reservation not when we arrived and sat down), we bought a bottle of wine and settled in and then we were told we will have to vacate the table just before 7 PM, we were informed we can stay another hour at another table that was appadnerky booked from 8 PM and during that hour we were reminded every 15 minutes that we have to leave soon which was very irritating. We'll never go back there.

Came here with family and we were all very impressed! The service was great, the drinks super tasty, and the food was delicious! The halloumi fries were the BEST!! Definitely get them. With a bigger group booking they put you in your own little space that feels like you?re in a cave - we loved it. Would highly recommend!
