Absolute appalling service by one individual who works there. I have witnessed this man swear Infront of me, storm out into the back, be rude with customers, be rude with his staff, vape right outside the shop. The shop advertises that they sell soup of the day but they never seem to actually have any in stock. The other members of staff seem to be fine but this man is a huge problem to the place and makes customers like myself feel bad for even ordering food. I have also seen others complain about the same staff member.

I like most people enjoy a stake bake or 3. But on this cold winter morning I was greeted by the extremely cold shoulders of "Ish" who upon the request of 2 delightful steaky bakeys rolled her eyes at me like I was the 'ishue' after completing my transaction a male member of staff or drill Sargent link sausage demanded that we shut the door behind us as other 'lazy' customers have not. I suggest these members of staff greet and speak to future customers with about more respect and have a cup of Gregg's soup to keep warm or adorn a jacket or such.

I was going to pop in after work for a light snack to tide me over until I was home and could get my dinner. 5.30 I arrived, a full half hour before closing, and both staff members were standing in the doorway (and so blocking it) vaping as if the store was closed. I didn't feel comfortable trying to squeeze past them like I witnessed someone else do, especially when one went in to serve and the other didn't even look up from his phone and continued to vape directly in the doorway. This isn't the first time I've seen the staff give the impression the place is closed before 6pm either!

One goes to Greggs for dependable and affordable food. However, unfortunately this location is anything but dependable. This must be the third weekend where I arrive for breakfast and they are out of bacon. This last time it was only 10:20, a full 40 minutes before breakfast ends, and they were out of it! The manager also did not seem concerned in getting more prepared so I left. I'm really let down by this lack of service and disinterest in providing customers with basic customer service. Given the location, I would implore others to simply visit other local cafes nearby (Project Coffee, Cafe Grande) as without dependable service, this Greggs really has nothing going for it. I agree with other reviewers to avoid it at all costs! Unless some serious change occurs, I won't visit ever again

This has t be the worst Greggs in the Edinburgh- Regardless of what time you go , whether its before the lunch time rush at midday or after 2.30 - guaranteed they will never have sandwiches - I have had this on at least 5 times over the past few weeks. I was recently told they had a new supervisor coming in and so far still no progress - PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST - it's a nightmare trying to find a parking space and when you do find obe - the shop practically only has cakes!

I bought 2 éclairs, which are as any eejit knows, long sticky things. So why on earth did the assistant shove them UPSIDE down in a paper bag, thereby transferring all the chocolate icing to the bag? When I asked if there was a box, I got a shrug. Not good enough!If you don't take an interest in your products - or your customers - get a job somewhere else!

It's Greggs, like every other branch. Fine fare at good prices unlike the appalling Rajas of Edinburgh in nearby Marchmont (long live Greggs - no fake reviews).
