Amazing professionalism! I took in 2 new pairs of tight shoes to be stretched. They kindly told me that the shoes might get damaged if I had them stretched. The lovely lady suggested that I wear the shoes around the house to break them in. Or manipulate them whilst watching telly! And, she suggested that if it didn't work, to bring them back. Such great service!!!!!

Took my one and only pair of dress shoes to gorgie cobblers nor really expecting much to be done with them as I had worn them to death, was told by the repairer that it could be expensive due to the amount of extra work that would need to be undertaken due to my excessive wear.Went back in a few days for collection and was absolutely thrilled to see my battered shoes looking like, e brand new.. great craftsman

I took my favourite winter boots that were in very bad shape I as have been wearing them a lot for years. The soles and the heels were very damaged and with holes. They did an amazing job and they look like new. They had a very quick turnaround and very reasonable price point. I am delighted!

Gorgie Cobblers managed to repair my boots which I thought would not be able to be repaired. They look as good as new and the cost for this was very competitive.I can?t recommend them enough and will be using them again.Forget the big chain shops and use this local, excellent service.

Took one of my favourite pairs of brogues along to this long-established cobbler in Gorgie to have them resoled. Fitted new leather soles for less than a well-known shoe repair chain quoted for man-made soles. Expert finish to job, and I am very happy with result. I will take other brogues there when they need heeling, soles too. Highly recommend this local business.

Quite disappointed - went in once and the bottom of my heel that just got fixed came off very easily. Went in again as giving the benefit of the doubt as it was one that's close to me. Wanted to make sure that the same thing didn't happen again and the guy argued with me about it, was a bit grumpy admittedly as I couldn't be bothered arguing. Went to collect shoes, heel was fine but they just slapped a big heel on that doesn't match the shoe at all. Didn't feel comfortable going back to make a fuss but annoyed that I've spent twice to get one heel fixed and then a whole amount for a pair of shoes I will not wear because they look ridiculous. I will 100% travel next time I want a repair.
