I haven't eaten at Frankie & Benny's since pre-pandemic where the quality of food was really poor. As a family friendly restaurant, the prices did not previously match the food quality. It was very expensive for sub standard grub.
On my visit yesterday we ate from the set menu as well as ordering for 2 children meals from the kids menu. All of the food was well priced, presented beautifully and tasted delicious. We didn't wait too long in between orders and there was nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Our waiters were patient, friendly and interacted with us in between orders. I couldn't be happier with my return to Frankie & Benny's and we made sure to leave a 10% tip as well as writing this positive review.

Absolutely amazing! Sat for 5 people and a waiter came to take our orders almost immediately. Had a very nice atmosphere and the staff were very kind! Food was also very cheap, would recommend

we weren't planning on eating out, we were just popping to Edinburgh for some bits and pieces - decided to stay for dinner - although service was fast, we never felt rushed and we really enjoyed our meal

Great place with a gorgeous old-style American decor. We have had a Groupon voucher which was a total bargain for 2 people and the food was so good! My husband got a great steak and I went for a chicken bbq & cheese stack. The service was very pleasant and informative too! Can totally recommend this restaurant!

This was a disappointing visit. We chose this restaurant over the others in close proximity because we expected a certain standard.
The service was slow. We were sat opposite the kitchen which was probably not the best as I watched plate after plate sit waiting to be taken to tables and staff members walk past them.
When our food did arrived it had been sat out for several minutes. A pizza arrived for one of our party with a scant amount of pepperoni and cheese on it. My dish was not what was ordered but this was accepted and our bill was amended accordingly which I was thankful for. The steak I received had a large amount of grissle running through it, the chips were cool (not in a good way). The burger another of us had ordered was ok but also not hot.
Like I say this was not a great visit and did not meet our high expectations.

Food was delicious. However our whole experience was ruined by an incredibly rude waitress
We had the free burger vouchers. She said we could only use one when the t&cs said otherwise. Completely dismissive and rude. Wouldn?t even listen to us when we were explaining the t&cs and made us feel embarrassed and like idiots. She went to tell the supervisor who then came over and confirmed we could use both. No real apology from her only and only a tiny sorry because we walked past her. No customer service skills.
The food was delicious but she ruined our experience. Won?t be back to this branch.

Came to Frankie and bennys as it?s normally a favorite of my family?s, asked for a steak well done, came out and was pink so sent it back. Literally brought it back to table within 2 mins so they obviously didn?t try and cook it to well done as was the exact same when it was brought back! Not difficult to cook something the way it?s requested! Won?t be back!!

Booked a table a week in advanced because we were impressed with their range of vegan options as my infant son has a milk and egg allergy and we didn?t want to get anything containing those ingredients as worried about cross contamination. Turned up and ordered our vegan dishes only to be told that they actually don?t have vegan cheese and so I had to eat a non vegan Margarita pizza and keep away from my son whilst the only vegan pasta was blow your head off spicy. The vegan nuggets were ok but more disappointed with the fact that there was no vegan cheese and on the booking we specified the allergies so I would have expected with a weeks notice that they would have ensured vegan cheese was available. It?s one of the most crucial ingredients to a vegan Italian dish.
Service was great and couldn?t fault the staff but just disappointed with the experience and don?t think we?d return.
