“I engaged Style Flooring as part of my extension works. Robin and his team were all highly professional from start to finish. Robin was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great advice when choosing our new flooring and kept us up to date on the status of things. Stephen and the rest of the prep/installation team were all highly skilled, and gave sound advice when unforeseen issues arose when lifting the older flooring. They were neat and tidy, and kept everything clean after they were finished. Highly recommend!!!”

The fitter (Ian) came to measure and cut the carpets and then took it away for edge binding. It was also so nice to see that Ian took great care in cleaning up after they have completed the install. Very glad we went to Kristoffersen Carpets, cannot recommend them enough.”

“I purchased my floor tiles from Tile Star recently and they have been utterly amazing from start to finish. Most importantly, I need to give special thanks to Stephen at Tile Star on Salamander Street. I had a nightmare day recently, trying to get more tiles, as we found out we hadn’t purchased quite enough tiles. The tiler was half way through the job and the batch of required tiles was discontinued by the supplier. I phoned the shop, Stephen answered and I told him my predicament. I only had our tiler for a limited time to complete the job. Stephen went out of his way to help me acquire enough tiles enable the job to be finished. He phoned the other branch in Falkirk to check their stock, phoned the supplier and personally helped me to acquire enough tiles to complete the bathroom job, which I was half way through. He was thinking on his feet and really supported me. He went above and beyond and without Stephen’s help, the whole job would have been a disaster. So huge thanks to Stephen at Tile Star. It’s people like Stephen that make a good business great.”

They were really helpful in guiding us with what was most appropriate and what would be the nicest without even needing the most expensive ranges. “Just went here to inquire about rugs - don't be put off by the forbidding sign outside; you can still browse and will be helped if there's no other customers. You can have a rug made from the woven runners they sell (immense selection, very nice patterns). They sew together runner lengths and put binding around it. Not cheap - a rug 1.9m by 2.20m is around £1,500 (requires three lengths of 70cm runners linked together and finished). Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, not pushy and gave me some other, cheaper suggestions.”
