“You can't see it, but i'm doing a First To Review dance in my living room... Besides my glee at added a new addition to my FTR domination, I actually quite like Jigsaw. I don't make a point of shopping on George St that often, and contrary to popular belief, that has very little to do with the fact that it houses mostly big brands that make my wallet cry. Even I get distracted by a shiny Anthropologie window every now and again. It's because George St has been the home of some of my WORST customer service experiences. ... look, it get it. When I walk into a shop where the price tag slopes on the steep side, I very rarely look "posh". Even when i'm trying, i'm likely wearing some sort of comic themed dress and beat up flats. I don't tend to look like i'd happily drop x number of pounds on something classy. But what they don't know is that those beat up flats are pretty good quality and I had that dress made. I might LOOK like a teenager, but I learned a long time ago that it's worth it to splurge on clothing. Sure, I can get dressed head to toe in Primark, but with my running around, i'd be needed a new outfit every few months. I don't mind paying for things that last. Jigsaw was one of the only places that didn't treat me like a waste of time or roll their eyes when I walked in the door (that review is coming...). Every time i've been in, they've been cheerful and downright helpful... even this last time when I got caught in a rainstorm and arrived looking the part of a drowned rat. The make well tailored clothes and (a major plus for us short folks), I don't have to tailor the arms to fit. You won't understand how awesome that is unless you too have spent the last 30 years having to make every damn sleeve shorter. I bought a pretty linen blazer from them and on my hunt for a trench coat, they were easily my first stop (but sold out... boo.). So no, I don't shop George St often, but I make an exception for Jigsaw.”

“If I could give 20 stars I would for customer service. My wife started a new job and wanted to get her a new laptop bag as a special gift. The one I picked was too small and your staff directed me to the perfect color and size. She loves it and all fits perfectly fits thanks so much for your help. Much appreciated great job!”

“Lovely staff who truly went the extra mile to help us make up our minds. The staff had personally tried and owned some of the trainer's and shoes for sale which made it a great way to get feedback for matching with outfits etc. Just a small store but it holds a lot of shoes and small bags. Definitely recommend for a place to get the most up to date fashion shoes.”

“Got my daughter ears pierced her by Kirsty I think her name was and even though my daughters only 2 and she was the only piercer in and they got busy she still took the time with her and she did explain to us there was a chance we could only get one ear pierced if she was to start screaming.”

“Decent sized branch with room to browse (unlike the cramped branch on princes St!) past security at the airport. Good selection of jewellery, sunglasses, bags, hats, scarves etc. Prices are the same as high street, and a useful stop for browsing or if you need the final touch to an outfit or you've forgotten your sunnies for your holiday! Friendly, helpful staff.”

“An enjoyable store visit this weekend (October 23) The homeware and jewellery are the most affordable options. I don’t find that the clothing is worth the prices but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying visiting the store. The display of all items is usually gorgeous and easy to look through.I’ll be back!”

The cashier at the Leith branch was very nice during my trip today and I found many beautiful items on sale. I really enjoy shopping at Peacocks because of the wide variety of clothes and sizes.
