Outrageous lack of service or humanity.
Following a series of issues with a repair, my (still broken) phone has been in store for collection for 2.5 weeks. I live 2 hours drive away with two toddlers, and I have been told that my mum (who lives in edinburgh) is not allowed to collect the phone on my behalf (even with my ID and verbal consent from my registered number)? I was told a manager would ring me back in half an hour to see if an exception could be made and he has not phoned (24 hours have passed). What has happened instead, is I have received an email from the store threatening that if I don't collect it in the next 7 days they will have no choice but to dispose of it? Arbitrarily dispose of my property which you won't allow me to collect?
I can't get through to the store number or find an alterative avenue to have this resolved. I was never informed that my mother could not collect on my behalf, or I would not have chosen the Gyle shop to deal with the repair.
Please feel free to phone me back if you do happen to read this - for the avoidance of doubt, you do not have my consent to 'dispose of my phone'. I will be escalating the issue regardless so I do hope it can be resolved.
Update: I got through to a manager called Ben and he was very helpful and managed to sort the whole issue within 10 minutes and my mum collected my phone the next day. Crazy unnecessary stress for something clearly so easily resolvable. Thanks Ben!

Guy who works there is terribly unhelpful. Is being all day on his phone doing nothing and if you dare to ask him check anything for your contract he redirects you to phone 150. Horrible customer service. No manners from this particular guy. Rude on his approach to even elderly.

Absolutely shocking service. Stood for 25mins before anyone came to see me. The one person serving was sitting with someone and ignored me. Not even a sorry for your wait.

My sim card stopped working. Phone didn't recognise the sim. Popped into the EE Gyle store in Edinburgh. Ben was extremely helpful. Tried another sim card, phone still showing message 'no sim'. Then Ben tried an esim which worked great, phone up & running! Thank you Ben, excellent customer service!

I visited the store to see what options I had when my contract finishes in a few months with my old provider. I was seen by Ben who was clear and easy to understand with the options I could do with EE. I could see the store was busy while he helped me, and with customers interrupting him to ask how long it would be for them to be seen as there only seemed to be two people working that day. He was very patient with me and didn't rush me to make a decision while people were pressuring him to hurry up and help them, he made sure not to let them interrupt my experience. A credit to the EE company and will be asking for him whenever I visit the store again. Thanks Ben!

Left work early to collect a parcel to find they finish whenever they want outside shop at 17:15 and closed to find Ben wouldn't give his last name leaving before half past and refused to get my parcel. Amazing customer service
