Nice cafe for a quick bite and some interesting hot-iced chocolate drinks.

This cafe is a nice place to relax, meet with friends, or work for a bit. The staff were very welcoming and kind and the atmosphere was warm and calm. The food and coffee were both very good (I took the lemon chicken sandwich and latte). The food is a little pricey but is expected for the location. I highly recommend if you?re looking for a place to meet with friends or work for a bit.

An ideal stop to refresh and re-caffeinate during a day out in Edinburgh.
We chose to pop in here as it had tables available and looked very appealing in contrast to some of the cafes that are plastered all over social media and full of people capturing shots for their Instagrams and Tiktoks.
It had such calm and chilled vibes and the cappuccino was great.
We didn't eat here, just had hot drinks. The cakes looked good but expensive. Hot drinks were in line with others we had, cost wise. Coffee was lovely.
Friendly service and nice clean facilities.

We were first to come in at half 8 and were greeted very nicely. Shown our table and had our orders taken. Two scones , made fresh with jam and cream. The strawberry iced matcha was a delight. But the star service was from the batten burgs on sale- raspberry and matcha flavour. They were brilliant, my first time trying them and my partners personal favourite.
Lovely place, great service, big enough for both groups and couples! Enjoyed everything

Food was okay, nothing really to stand out. Portions were quite small for the price. Both poached eggs on both dishes were slightly overdone so not that runny and almost hard boiled.
The breakfast stack was tasty but very dry needed more sauce, no sauce available on the table and no staff around to ask for more.
The restaurant was freezing cold so we sat and ate breakfast wearing our coats.
Service was friendly, nice warm welcome but nothing to make it stand out from any others in the area.

Very friendly staff and solid coffee and cake(s). Perfect spot to settle down and plan your Edinburgh adventure!

Decent cafe close to Royal Mile in Edinburgh. The drinks were hot and tasted good, while the chocolate croissant also seemed fresh, so fairly good over there.
The only problem is the space is a little small, so the wait was around 20 minutes and then some more time to order because there were only two members of staff.
Worth a visit but there are also other such places in Edinburgh.

Unfortunately not good at all. Place looked fine but realised why everywhere else was full and this wasn?t. Two cappuccinos and two plain croissants £19.58 includes £1.78 service charge. We couldn?t drink the hot milk and slightly coffee tasting mixture presented. Croissants were edible but very dry and bland. Our only disappointment of an otherwise excellent visit to Edinburgh. We paid, left, cued, perfect.
