I just checked in today and I?m very disappointed. I expected something similar to the Crown Plaza hotel I was just staying at in Dublin, but this isn?t close. The room is small, with an ancient phone, limited plugs that are not by the night stand, a tiny bathroom with no toiletries, no drawers, an AC that doesn?t really work, a window with no screen that?s very dirty, and no real room amenities. I picked this location because it was on Amex platinums list of partner locations and there was mention that you could get room upgrades when available. The front desk staff promptly told me that there was no upgrade available (didn?t seem to check and changed the story during the explanation ). There?s also no water battles left in the room, just a kettle that I suppose you?re are supposed to go buy water for. The website says there is pharmacy service and that you will have a robe in the bathroom- there are neither of those things. There?s also no menu or explanation of things in the room. Needless to say, I won?t be back.

Beautiful but the rooms were SO hot and stuffy! Opened window but very noisy. Had to sleep with air con (also noisy!) Dinner was delicious!

Very nice place. The cleaning of the room is zero. We went out to the city all day and when we returned we found the room uncleaned. We called the reception to communicate and have them send us personnel....and no one arrived. We had to sleep in an uncleaned room.Rooms: Old and expired bed bases...they are not comfortable.Safety: It's good

We arrived well early, but they let us leave the car and go explore, then check in once we return. There is an £8 charge for carpark use. My wife is gluten intolerant and they offered bread from one of the top brands. Her first impression of the bathroom was "Waoo it's really clean". The breakfast was very good and everyone can find something. Room was very clean too as always. My daughter was thrilled with the pool. I am glad I choosed this hotel for the first time in Edinburgh for my wife and daughter, it was my second in this hotel. A big thank you for every single staff member to make the stay relaxing and make all the guests feel special. Transport to the centre is very convenient bus/train/tram.Rooms: Comfy, quiet and have enough space.Nearby activities: Bus/train/tram is very close and takes you to the centre. Hotel spa is great for the price.

Fantastic hotel with brilliant services, rooms and hospitality, location isn't most ideal for Edinburgh tourist however a tram station is situated only a 10 minute walk away Infront the Morrisons. Really nice breakfast, large room with a warm atmosphere and the onsite restaurant is high quality.

Great location and value for money. Staff is friendly. Hotel is quite old but room are nice and clean, I would avoid the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. I would just to nearby mall just go to nearby mall next door.

We had a lovely time staying at this hotel. It's a bit far away from City Centre; however, buses every less than 10 minutes stop just right in front of the hotel. Room was neat and clean, smelled nice, and had enough supplies. Good for staying some days to visit Edinburgh City Centre or before taking a flight.

One of the front desk staff was not friendly. Very adamant even after showing the booking confirmation, she charged extra. I had to escalate this again to get the money reverted.Plus, keys were not working even after repeatedly getting them to correct at front desk.Second time when I was locked out due to keys not working, the staff insisted on showing the ID card while I had all my stuff locked in the room.

Had a family wedding here, we drove up from London stayed a couple night at the hotel which was lovely, great rooms all good sizes, phenomenal service, even dealing with un orthodox requests from the kids up to the elderly in the family, special thankyou to Kayla & Stella who both were absolutely wonderful, look forward to our next stay at Delta Marriot Edi.Rooms: Rooms are exactly how they look in the images, (not like the normal catfishing hotels do)Safety: Safety is great for cars with their monitored car park, secure inside aswell as you have to pass the desk as soon as you enter and multiple staff always in the lobby.Walkability: B&m access the road and shell petrol station, there?s a McDonald?s nearby and Tesco.Food & drinks: Breakfast is spot on with a lot of variety.
