Food is good. Drinks are good. The downside is the waiting, about 40 minutes. I'm not a fan of places with no light, but that is just me. The waitress was super friendly and fast.

If I could more than 5 stars, I would. The place, the ambience, the food, the location, everything is beyond exceptional. Once you take chai, the refills are unlimited. Dal Makhni and Sally Boti were yumi-licious. The staff were so nice. Would highly highly highly recommend.

We had an incredible experience at The Dishoom Edinburgh. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, attentive, and full of care. Every detail, from the ambience to the pacing of the meal, was handled with thoughtful precision.
What really stood out was how accommodating the team was with my wife?s celiac needs. They went above and beyond to ensure she felt safe and supported, and it made the entire dining experience so much more relaxed and enjoyable for both of us.
The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and not an ounce of pretension. Every dish was a standout, and nothing felt overly fussy or avoidable, just great, honest food done right.
Highly, highly recommend. This place is a gem.
