“First stop after I arrived in Edinburgh for toiletries. They had some bargains on large Yankee candles, so I gave in and purchased one! Plus a few little extras! There is everything you need from shampoo to air fresheners to hair colours, all at reasonable prices too. Shop is nice and bright, and the shop assistant was friendly too!”

“Dobre miejsce na szybkie zakupy jeśli potrzebujemy czegoś na przykład do remontu, aczkolwiek irytuje to że trzeba wpierw przejść przez alejkę z jedzeniem aby dostać moc później wybrać alejkę do której chcemy się udać. Zmieniłbym tylko układ półek i ścieżek w sklepie i byłoby 5/5”

“Love home bargain because who doesn't like a wee bargain. Customer service is always great. I've found tho that some of the toys I buy don't last long or there's something missing or broken so I think they need to have a look at why this is but other than that. Great shop”

“Great clean shop with helpful staff. There's always a great bargain going on - in particular I love their range of candles and wax melts. £2.99 for a candle that burns for 95 hours? In my opinion they're as good as Yankee Candles for a fraction of the cost . An added bonus is the free parking on site, as well as being close to bus routes. It's great to have a wander around and spy what bargains are on offer, especially if you're a fiend for a good deal.”

“Came in to look for some dice and the man who was working on the tills helped us find them quickly. I forgot my loyalty card and he told me how to claim my points still. He also directed me, my aunt and my brother to Edinburgh castle. He was very friendly, happy and just a pleasure to be around. This was around 11am. Thank you so much!”

“Safe to say best prices in central Edinburgh. Very student friendly prices and have a good range of goods. Most other supermarkets cannot compete at all with Lidl in this area in terms of the range of stock except the larger Tesco Express down the road. This Lidl does get very busy during rush hours and between classes as it is where all the students at the University of Edinburgh shop so queues get very long. But as long as you go during off peak hours it is a great shop.”
