Absolutely disgrace of a medical group. The most the doctors are very rude and the waiting times are unreal just to get a call back not even from a doctor.

Very unhelpful and poor service. . I tried to get a Hepatitis b vaccine for a guy as his partner is a Hep B carrier. He couldnt speak English and he asked me to help and represent him to make the appointment for him but the I already called two days(yesterday and today) and called like 4 times( and been waiting on phone for like 1 hour). they just told me to go to other department... They have given usthe Vaccine hotline, the Charmers Sex hospital and Western Hospital numbers and I have tried all of them but none of them can help as they all telling me to go back to GP for this. The vaccine hotline lady said the GP have to give them a vaccine referral letter then they can give vaccine . But the CraigmillarMedical centre receptionists just keep saying they not offer this Hep vaccine anymore and also not even can help the vaccine referral !!! As we requested a Hep Vaccine referral letter from them but they rejected as well...I asking them why they cannot help they said they too busy..I am not happy about this as the patient I am trying to help he is already in his 60+ and if he get virus from his partner then it will increase further burden to NHS too !! Its very irresponsible of them to shifting their responsibility and kicking us here and there but not helping us practically!!

My 85 yr old dad has sores on his leg, he didn't say to before now, I called the surgery, it says approx wait time 8min 10 seconds, then 7min, then 8min 59 seconds, how on earth can that be, these sores I'm told by pharmacy need antibiotic may also need dressed, this surgery is a shambles and need reported to the care commission, no point in having it being there especially when they are not even looking after their most vulnerable and infirm

Avoid Dr Dixson! I have never experienced such a rude doctor before. I am going to take this further and make sure he gets reported for his attitude and behaviour towards me.I booked an appointment as I had a very bad respiratory infection. Due to this, I had an uncontrollable cough which causes me to cough up phlegm. As the Dr was checking my chest i asked if he could provide me with a cup as i was about to cough up some phlegm. He said "No" I then said I will need to use the toilet. He then proceeded to shout at me in a very disrespectful manner "YOU WILL NOT USE OUR TOILETS HERE"He already seemed annoyed even before I came into the office to be checked up. After I came back from the toilet he said "sorry" as he very well knew he shouldn't have spoken to me like that. I then asked if he would provide me with antibiotics as I was struggling to breathe. He then again talked to me with a bitter attitude stating they wouldn't work.I was already very ill and was struggling to breathe so i decided to walk out. I got up and said "I don't like your attitude" as i walked out the door he shouted again and said "AND I DON'T LIKE YOURS"I hope you see this review Dr Dixson. I have not forgotten about this incident.

We wanted to thank everyone at this medical centre. When my eldery mother, Marija Selecka, became (unknowingly) unwell, this was immediately picked up by routine blood tests and the GPs ensured the immediate care plan was in place to ensure she is looked after and safe. We couldn't ask for better care - thank you so much!

Getting an appointment it so ridiculously hard took me 10 months to get in with a doctor. When I was late for the appointment they wouldn?t let me in to see them had to reschedule it again

I don?t know why there?s all these negative reviews.I registered during Covid lockdowns. Never needed them. I recently contacted them, was offered a same day phone appointment. Was then offered an in person appointment the next week. Returned the next day for blood to be taken and a week later I had the results and got offered a same day phone appointment.The reception staff/nurses/doctors have all been very friendly and professional. They obviously take a lot of calls, and only on Friday afternoon has it taken a few attempts to get through but it was less than 4 minutes to get to speak to someone.

Always had a great experience with Craigmillar Medical group. Been there nearly 3 years and always get through and get the support I need. Dr Simon is very thorough as well as all doctors and nurses here in my experience. One of the best.

To be honest, a waste of time unless you have a serious and immediate issue.6 phone calls for an issue affecting my work and income, being told 3 times I will be called back in the near future to discuss options and just end up being forgotten.Needs serious review by NHS Scotland, as this is not adequate at all.

I don't know why the reviews are so low. I know it takes ages to get through in the morning to get an appointment, but it's the same everywhere. The staff are friendly and seem to genuinely care about patients.

I when for a runtine midwife cheek up about my unborn baby and had nothing but being told ill be having a social work meeting in a mouth my baby is not even out of me and they want to take it I felt discussed and disappointed with the serive and they have made me emotionally disrulated unwanted stress haven't done nothing wrong now so they have focused me to have a abortion witch is not bye choice

Made an error with my prescription & repeatedly failed to remedy the situation & now I'm left without prescribed medicines for 3 weeks going on holiday. Disappointing.
