Appalling attitude. I went in for a hole in a belt. He had left the tool at home, asked me to come back with the belt another day (instead of leaving it). I said a couple of times that I wanted to show him the belt (which is not a conventional one, I wanted to make sure that he thought he would be able to do it). He just wouldn't listen. By this time I was admittedly a bit agitated and sort of stormed out. He then had the gall to mock my accent. The whole thing was positively monty pithonesque. I learnt my lesson and will keep going to Timpson's, where I'm always treated with consideration.

Fantastic service, very easy, straightforward,had two pairs of shoes re- solved, has done a fantastic job. Would highly recommend to anyone and will be back with more pairs!

I have used this shop a few times for tightening sandals and keycutting. I needed a key cut yesterday (Monday) and forgot Cobblers Bench was closed so while i was in Asda, asked the guy in Timpsons how much it would cost, only to be told £9! I was in shock, 1 key. Today i got the same key cut in Cobblers Bench for £4.50 or 2 for £6.50. Please dont go past Cobblers Bench for shoe mending, keycutting etc, small local business not ripping people off.
